I love how you take the time to learn a new spec and class yourself without relying on others to tell you exactly what to do (: It makes the whole series so much more authentic and fun! Good luck, noobie

Seeing some of your leveling is definitely part of the journey, so I'm glad you're keeping it in, just trimming it down. I think that's the best idea for not having it be such a big timesink for you. I'm enjoying watching the fire gameplay so far. Very flashy, very fast-paced.
Yeah, I didn't wanna scrap it completely, it's part of the process after all :D I'm glad you enjoy the Fire gameplay, it feels great to play, but I do need to get better because I don't think the numbers I'm pulling are good. We'll see once I get a bit more gear and the 4 set if I'm horribad or not I guess
I did that before in other series and even suggested people do so, but you end up spending a lot more time in the light colored zones than you need to, and the dark colored ones give a 20% (or is it 30%?) damage resistance effect, so I try to just stay in those and make myself easier to heal, it really makes a difference on high tyrannical keys, not that this was one. :D
I'm so glad you mentioned the leveling thing, I wanted to say I didn't quite like it but I didn't want you to take it negatively - it's my personal preference and I'm probably in the minority with that thinking. Either way, I continue to look forward to your awesome series!
Yeah, I think it's the best of both worlds for everyone if I just bring it down to one episode. I don't have to bust my ass editing for 5 episodes and I also don't neglect people who like to see at least a bit of the leveling part of the journey and how I learn the class as I keep playing it. (:
1. Only fireball inside combustion with over 100% haste (double time warp) otherwise replace fireball with scorch 2. If you have skb and combustion up, do your hard cast and combust right before your cast ends to get that 18 sec combustion. Skb extends the duration of combustion but combustion cancels your skb. So if you skb cast and use combust right after the cast emds, you cancel out the skb and lose 6 sec of combustion. 3. Practice your double pyros! If you are inside of combust, you can scorch, fireblast, pyro, pyro. Fireblast can be used during a cast just like combust. 4. Same goes with fireballs outside of combustion. Just keep fireballing until you crit. If you crit, dont cancel your next fireball to fireblast pyro. Keep casting that next fireball and fireblast during the cast to convert to a hotstreak and then send the instant pyro with the fireball at the end of the cast. Hope this helps a bit :)
hey vlad, just a quick remark, as i have found if you have an skb combust and use regular combust, it will not add the time, you get the regular 12 seconds, but if you use an skb inside of combust that extends the duration.
Yeah one more tip to avoid this you can use combust while casting so using it during the pyro/flamestrike hardcast will proc skb inside combust and add time correctly
If u so happen to read this comment a few tips sorry 😂 the previous tip applies to every combust with or w/o skb, almost always use combust during a fireball/scorch/pyroblast cast unless movement is needed, and unless u have alexstraza's fury talent never use phoenix flames outside of combust/skb, u want to save as many instant casts for combusts :)
when you were talking about gold and showing your gear in the beginning, how did your character screen look like that? is it an add on or something? it looked amazing.
The leveling content being secondary is a good idea! I really enjoy the first few episodes of levelling stuff but I can see why people wanna just get on with the series, maybe a war within leveling series to indulge leveling content enjoyers?
I like the idea of that, I think I will do a series of just playing as the new expansion comes out, since I'll probably have a bit of time before I can even do any kind of M+ grind (:
Just gonna need a lot of practice! Probably won't be showing any raid content unfortunately, it just takes way too long to record and I don't have the time along with a full time job and everything else I do :(
keep up the good work ps : you should get a weakaura that screams “ DONT USE FIRBALL WHILE BUSTING” u can press fireball while bussing if u double lust tho
@@gh0stface1981 u should never run out of ibs normally when you're at 1 stack of fireblast u press scorch into ip into double pyro they call it scorch weaving look it up
Glad you did! I'm just having trouble not burning out at the start of a series because I have to level quickly and edit a _lot_ of stuff to make it work, so I'm gonna switch it up for the future (:
I think you should try the ignite build, it's not as good at low keys but better you start learning now. Although there ain't much to learn since it's basically the ST rotation the whole way through
The Algarian Stormrider bird? That's from the War Within epic edition preorder I believe. It's really nice, but a bit wonky because it doesn't have Whirling Surge, it instead has a weird Lightning Surge ability that you have to stack up by flying near walls and then it takes you really far, but it doesn't let you turn quickly... it's fun sometimes but a real pain in the ass if you want to get going in a global rather than a few globals.
You can also do the timerift event for trinkets that go up to 450 ilvl. There's one that gives a haste proc with a nice green fire elemental buddy. Also the tier slots items from there and the dreamsurge can be catalysed to last season's tier set without spending charges. Atal, I get that the route high keys use is never go honorguard but for pugs it always seems like a terrible idea. Without proper comms and no kick rotation going left has failed almost every time for me. Only times I see it work is when the tank can do it all himself. That's pretty much only the VDH with prot pal as runner up. Grinds my gears that streamers call people stupid for going right not understanding there is no shotcaller or proper rotation of stops in pugs below 25-26.
Maybe 5 minutes, if even that long. People don't discriminate too much when you're 445 for +10 keys. I just applied to literally every +10 key I could. It helps that I have Time Warp (:
The higher you go, you'll eventually have to switch to st ignite spread build for aoe. You'll have better aoe, and you won't have to sacrifice st boss damage using the flamestrike build.
1. you're doing fine for your first key with a new class. 2. do you double time-warp? you should not sleep on that. 3. why are you on EU btw? i'm curious. 4. yes thank you for not recording anything other than you doing keys, that's what we're here for (imho). great content btw.

casting combust replaces your skb but activating skb during combust gives the added duration idk why it works that way but never hard cast for skb and press combust after the cast finishes you can tho hard cast for skb and press combust just as the cast finishes since combust is off the gcd that way you'll have a 18 sec combust and if you play it right you'll get another skb at the end of that 18 sec making it 24 sec you should aim to do that every time you can since combust is the only period of time a fire mage deals any damage. also cast meteor b4 combust to not waste a global in your combust :D

That's fair criticism, I should not expect people to know what they're doing in a +9 key, but I think you're taking it a bit far by calling it flaming or chewing out. There were DPS pulls, I show as much, but there was also just far too many casters pulled by a tank that didn't have an interrupt talented and didn't CC either. You think it's the right route, I don't. That's the core of this conversation.
