Snack/Energy bar and some all-sugar candies (e.g. the kind your kids bring home on Halloween that even they won't eat)...nothing worse than bonking mid round with no beverage cart in sight.
insect repellant. spray and splash-on sunscreen (both) complete first aid kit, hand sanitizer, 3-4 bottles of water, brass brush, light wind-breaker(jacket), cell phone(I.C.E.), Spike tool, Club-head adjustment tool (they can come loose). Assorted tees, balls, ball mark tools, gloves, masks, spare sunglasses, sharpie, pocket knife, 3- towels. yes, it is heavy. I do use a cart.
I had an occasion when a sliding weight on my driver loosened on my opening tee shot. I didn't have a torque wrench in my bag, so for the rest of the round I had to listen to the weight sliding around and "re-adjusting" my driver each time I used it.
The ultimate multifunctional golf trainer and simple accessory is undoubtedly the STOW STICK. Not only does it enhance my golf skills, it also ensures the safety and organization of my golf gear while I play. I recommend keeping it in your bag, I do…
Power charger - in case your phone dies out on the course...I keep mine on my push cart holder near the handle so it can hook up to my phone while being used...
I make a batch of brownies the night before..and bring 8 squares with me to the course, enough to share and enough for me to nibble on say on a backed up par three tee box
An emergency flask filled with tequila, just incase u start getting a little stressed out. Great tool to unwind. Got one specifically for my golf bag, and never leave home without it
I disagree, we carry a little fireball for when someone in our group makes a birdie. I hate fireball, but I love birdies and it’s a tradition that is only changed when someone pours 4 screwball shots.
Sunscreen, a small water bottle, a red and a purple sharpie with line guide, light weight rain gear, pants and jacket, a few bandaid, a quarter plus my ball marker, an all natural fruit bar, a spare glove, and a collapsible ball retriever. If it rains, I still play. Only lightning, snow or winds above 30 knots send me to the 19th. The rest is self explanatory. Oh, a few shots of fireball which we toast when/if someone gets a natural birdie. Handicap birdies don’t count except for our team score.
For some reason I always seem to forget to bring my ability to play the game to the course each round...
Lmao. You and me both
Same, gotta remember to throw that in the bag next round! I think it makes it to the course, just waits in my car for me to be done.
Lol
Same. I seem to be forgetting this, and sobriety when I get to the course😂🤣
Cigar cutter and a lighter, for when someone brings some extra cigars.
Always. And I’d add a spare flask to the list
Grinder and rizla for when someone brings the weed
I played 18 on Wednesday and got to the #1 tee box and realized I left my lighter at home...at least my bad shots took my mind off not have it 😁
Insect repellant is a must as well
A large glass of my favourite alcohol, to wash down the awful taste of 4 triple bogeys... 😫
LOL. Only thing is it’s usually the alcohol that caused my 4 triple bogeys
Amen
My waterproof Galvin Bucket Hat is my favourite item, that and a good golf towel
Snack/Energy bar and some all-sugar candies (e.g. the kind your kids bring home on Halloween that even they won't eat)...nothing worse than bonking mid round with no beverage cart in sight.
Mike Williams when I was playing in Thailand mid round bonking was quite popular although somewhat frowned upon if it held up the group behind
I think we all need to get plastered during the round. Good tip!
Snake bite kit, bear repellant, and a compass to find your way back out of the woods. :)
Plasters? Does he mean BandAids? ...must be speaking “English”, rather than “American”!
Shoestrings and a hex wrench for my trolley. Just in case...
Cable ties would be useful as well if you have a trolley
I bring a small bottle of low dose chewable aspirin in case anyone suffers heart attack....most often instigated by a three putt.
And always make sure you bring extra balls. I have guys I play with that seem to forget that golf is played with a golf ball, typically your own.....
I think you missed attaching your golf towel much higher so it doesn’t drag.
Pain killers esp Ibuprofen just in case!
And Benadryl, for those with allergies.
Does a fifth of Jack and a quarter ounce fit the bill?
Thanks for the tips. It would be great to have more tips for eyeglasses.

Had a little laugh about the water...in Texas, that is essential! These days (covid), I bring 2-4 bottles in a small insulated bag...
Where's the Whiskey flask?

You left out the most important item to have in the bag at all times......a fifth
Whats a plaster... in the USA we use plates to fix a hole in the wall. Lol
Bandaids
What do you mean?
I don't have enough room in my bag for all of this. My pockets are usually full of beer 😂.
Spare glove, sunglasses, Gatorade, energy bar, small first aid kit, and a small flask for a quick sip while waiting on the tee.
Club brush, extra spikes, extra towel and most important, pain relievers and antacid.
wet towel has to be wet i never clean my clubs anymore bc i wipe them every shot
Neil, Thanks for the great tips. You really did come up things that I would have never thought of. Thanks again.

energy bar - can't play well when you are hungry !!!!!
Glove for the range?! Of course! Thanks.

ALL GOLFERS Need a STOW STICK.
Pencil sharpener
What about the whisky and weed?
Power charger - in case your phone dies out on the course...I keep mine on my push cart holder near the handle so it can hook up to my phone while being used...
Maybe a new phone? My phone wouldn't run out unless the round lasted 24 hours...I filmed my whole round in 4K and the battery was still at 80%
I just turn my phone off, because I don’t wanna be disturbed during a round of golf, and I’m usually too drunk to take a call by hole 7 anyways
Chocolate bananas 🍌
I make a batch of brownies the night before..and bring 8 squares with me to the course, enough to share and enough for me to nibble on say on a backed up par three tee box
A ball retriever 😰

Don't forget a roll of toilet paper! I've never had to use it myself but have given it to a few friends in need after a ruff night out,
Plaster = bandages??
Painkillers. Nothing worse than Golf with a headache or aching body part.
Pulled my waterproof top out of the bag the other day for the first time after lockdown, it stank like a skunk the day after a Guinness session.
American Express card...never leave home without it😀
Hi-Chews
As an American, I had to look up what a plaster was.
Toilet Paper
And a spade...if you need to crap on the course bury it!
To prevent blisters use the Compeed stick before you start using new shoes, it really works and a life saver.
In Australia. Bug spray, bugs pray and bug spray.
