I prefer this version of Amazing Grace.
Recommend their new version of O Holy Night. Epic!
O DEFINITELY
Yyyup!
100000% I can't get enough of the reactions for O Holy Night.
Nice Reaction - and I love the history of the group and song -- AWESOME!!
you can see kevin cello boxing and singing in their cover of seal's 'kiss from a rose'. its recorded live in the vevo studio, its amazing and better than seal's version imho.
Oh, yeah. They shred the heck outta that one! 🤘🏾
Thanks for the reaction and the history. All 5 members work on the arrangement of songs. They decide who sings what. After they make the rough cut of the arrangement, they send it to Ben for fine tuning and to put on sheet music. After they work on it and make changes, Ben writes sheet music for the version that they are to record. Changes can and sometimes are made up until the recording is done. Ben is great but does not have sole arrangement credit for Pentatonix arrangements. Some arrangements are done without Ben.
They are perfection!
Just came upon your channel. After the intro I immediately subscribed. Love love it. You just gave the people that are not Pentaholics yet a history of the groups. Remember they were nominated for 5grammys, received 3 and a star on the Walk of Fame.
We Pentaholics love this group with all our hearts and love reactions. TX for this. I am going to try and find whether you did other pentatonix reactions. Have you reacted to Love again, 1 of their own songs. Greetings from South Africa
Nice reaction. One note tho, the band themselves do most of the arrangements and send a recording to Ben. He makes suggestions, they all fine tune, and then he writes the sheet music.
Great reaction 😊🔥
I love this version. It's the only version that's made me super emotional. I was still crying an hour after I first heard it because it was so beautiful and moved me so much.
Great reaction! They are simply beautiful. This is my favourite song of theirs by far!
Thanks for this! Loved the intro. Yup...Kevin always surprises people with his sweet falsetto. He has a lovely voice and tone and he does get to sing more often than people realize...he always joins in the backing vocals when not actively beatboxing. We just don't catch it because the camera isn't focused on him.
Just so you know Ben doesn’t arrange for them as much anymore as he did in the beginning. The group themselves have a big part in arranging and then they take it to Ben to transcribe into sheet music. He does a lot of their studio production when they record. I’m not taking anything away from Ben’s talents just want you to know that the group is very much involved in their own arrangements. Ben said in an interview that when he was working on the sing off and was so busy helping all the groups, he left Ptx on their own a lot because he knew they could handle it more than some other groups who had never put vocal arrangements together.
#PTX has ALWAYS been very involved with their arrangements, not sure how we got the idea that Ben handled it all.
You should listen to RUNRIG and their song called ( In Search Of Angels )
Do yourself a favor and check out Kevin doing "down" just Kevin, a looper and cello. Just phenomenal
Great reaction. Check out KO's Fifth live
Where have you been Kevin is an outstanding tenor/cellist and reportedly (by his band mates) has a higher voice than than Kirstin and Mitch.
Kevin O lu sho la
What was the intro? Who
I'm so confused. I know you have heard Kevin sing before. I don't know. It's just weird.
