Spitfire.. thank you for the opportunity to let our creative imaginations run free without having to spend a fortune. Sincerely, a broke, aspiring film composer.
You can Fill out the Questionnaire on Thier website to get this for free in 2 weeks if you are willing to wait
Yes, Thanks a lot guys! It is amazing and extremely useful. It is very, very kind of you to offer this for free. We are having a hard time!
Cheers from the Canary Islands :)
I second that comment!
@@AtharvaMohiteMusic hey could you please walk me through the process? Is it from Spitfire's website? I can't seem to find it.
@@cyrilstephen5646 I just recieved an email with the links to fill out the questions. Just got my download link today. Not sure how to obtain the links otherwise though
An amazing free library? 200 mb? A clear 5 minute walkthrough?! Is there anything you can't do, Spitfire Audio? Great job, as always :)
Why can’t literally every VST walkthrough be edited and showcased like this?!
Cause this was a collab with the brittish broadcast channel, this is the pinnacle of quality
ah spitfire know where its at bro
3:06 "Finally, percussion: from the *harp* ..." My orchestration teacher would throw a fit, lol.
Ahahaha, high five! I thought the same))
Hahahaha right... I was like: things have changed since the last time...
the harp
isn't a percussion instrument lol
they put in the perc section but it's a string instrument
smh
Percuted strings? 😂
@@SC4RRL3TT percussed strings.
This is amazing - Thank you Spitfire!

I freaking love the sound of the Cello section. You guys are too generous.
They are awesome. I totally agree. I was blown away by them.
I think this is the most shortest walkthrough video of a big library on this channel!. Even after being so short it has so much important stuff and the thing is explained very well!. I liked it
I can't believe how they made it. The sounds with only 200MB is incredibly great. Plus, free? OMG!
I downloaded but I can’t find it anywhere. Please help me
@@xgusto1235 Checkout the download folder first. You also can check the download history of your browser.

Definitely the best walkthrough ever.
Profesh, complete with a British accent!
I've been into animation recently and have been producing music for almost 4 years. I always wanted to make a short film and a score for the film and Spitfire has allowed me to enter the world of impossible for me and I will always be grateful to them, the artists and musicians of Spitfire studio; peoples withouts limitations in creativity. Thank You. Thank you for breaking the barrier and make mine and others creativity shine as bright as stars!
I couldn't agree more man...❤✨
One thing I have found great about this library is that they put the key switches for articulations way down at C-1. This will allow you to stack multiple instances of the plugin on one track and have a full range of playing with the preset keymapping making it an amazing sounding string section patch for exploration and composing as well as string pads. Try it with all the string sections together set to "long", it's amazing!
I don’t understand can you make video
Bruh now you tell me
I don't get it
@@NikosKatsikanis 88 key piano plays down to A0 (whereas middle C is C4) and up to C8. That’s 7 octaves plus a minor third. However, MIDI allows for 128 notes (0-127). What do you do with the remaining 40 notes? You use them as switches to change samples. Like a light switch, not pressing the ‘unused’ note will give you a standard articulation (maybe staccato) when playing in an instruments’ range but if you hold down one of these ‘unused’ notes, the instrument will play long notes instead. These ‘unused’ notes are then ‘keyswitches’. OP is happy because the switches are two or more octaves below any instruments’ range which means you can play all the notes of the instrument and use the switches at the same time.
@@Hexspa thx
The next step will be to offer the same for Hans Zimmer Strings. DISCOVER, CORE, PRO. Thank you.
PLEASE DO SO SPITFIRE
I SWEAR LETS GOOOOO
What’s the difference between discover, core and pro?

That "Sunrise" fanfare from "Also sprach Zarathustra" / A Space Odyssey sounds ridiculously realistic for a 200 MB file. Also makes me always think of the later Las Vegas Elvis; expecting a drum fill leading into "See See Rider" ;)
Spitfire killing the game yet again, winning people over left and right. Couldn't be any happier myself. The opportunities you give to aspiring composers who cannot afford the high end libraries are absolutely amazing. Never has there been a better time to be a composer/producer/whatever, truly exciting!
Spitfire, you guys are truly the GOAT for putting this out for free. Insane quality with such a user friendly interface. Truly impressive, thank you!
Bought it and already diving in. What a deal. Perfect for my Orchestration/Arranging class at COC (Valencia, CA). THANK YOU SPITFIRE AUDIO!!!! Well done as always.
0:39 What a great tribute of "Les lacs du Connemara" by Michel Sardou...! A french popular song which makes the french's parties more exciting ! Thanks BBC
Honest to god - this is the best thing since free vst's. Thank you spitfire.
I had not heard of this sample library before and now I'm shocked. Thanks for making this so affordable. In my case, I'm a game developer that wants to make music for my own games. I was searching a good price/value match, and I've finally found it. Thanks again for making this possible. I have always wanted to make my own compositions but I thought I needed to spend all my money in order to make that true.
It's literally free, you can't get a better price/value
@@muzlee7479 Well unless they pay you to use it lmao
Literally almost started crying when I began this video! Thank you so much @Spitfire Audio!!!
... shyly... a big thank to you Spitfire Team- from my heart - to push (and helph) us up in involving and, then improve our career! ❤💚💙💙💛
Definitely need to stick with this format for EVERY pack released. This is quickly consumable, informative and enjoyable. YES.
Life changing product! Thank you so much for allowing students to enter the world of orchestral composition
This is absolutely incredible especially for budgetless 18 year old me!!!

Haha, you and me both, my dude.
hey :) im 19 and broke as hell so I hope they send me the copy for free. Tomorrow will be 7/15 days of waiting :DDD
Same here haha
@@hithere4289 Did you get it? :)
@@myrondcunha5670 Yes!!! I was a bit nervous because you know like "what if they dont like my answers" or whatever but I got it and it sounds amazing like it's my first orchestra library ever and I have literally just been making music and including the BBC into it yeah its amazing :) :) :)
Wow, I'm speechless.
Thank you, Spitfire. Already took the survey and waiting for my imagination to get into that plugin.
just downloaded the free discover edition and blown away by the quality of sounds available. very useful indeed. 3 cheers to the BBC & spitfire :)
Amazing collection of instruments you can play with. Thank's Spitfire Audio to help us for this first step in orchestra.
Love how straight to the point this is. Really appreciate what you guys do!
I've just answered the survey. I will start with my journey now with you spitfire. Wanna expand my knowledge in all posibilities. Thank you for giving the opportunity and let use your library for free.
Fantastic opportunity to see this product first hand!
Thank you, Spitfire, for also giving those of us who can’t afford a high-end setup wonderful software to use!
Just downloaded it and I'm blown away by the content and quality of content for this plugin, it's seriously punching above it's weight
Thank you so much for this, Spitfire. Sometimes can't even believer I have the entire BBC Orchestra at my fingertips!!
Thanks. Downloaded today. This is what the world needs, within 20 minutes of trying it out, it has changed my entire attitude towards orchestral instruments and digital versions thereof. Lots of possibilities, this will take many years to explore and fully utilise. Wow. Definitely has me inspired and looking forward to what I can do with it. Thanks....I am really motivated with this gift. Thanks again. Highly appreciated.
Amazing, using it in fl studio, easy for anyone to use. One of the best plug-ins ever made!
All I can say is thank you and wow. You've unleashed a hidden monster in me. Coming from a mainly blues and rock background, this is uncharted territory for me. Luckily I was born with a good ear and have learned to develop my arrangement skills over the years, so that helps. I've really surprised myself with what I've created so far and this has been a ton of fun, albeit a few long nights into the wee hours of the morning. If this turns out to be something I'd like to pursue further, I may have to consider upgrading because I'm definitely missing the legatos.
This is mind blowing!
The moment Also Sprach Zarathustra started I got goosebumps all over
Awesome, simply awesome! Keep releasing free stuff, you guys are doing gods work
This is so good, it feels wrong to use this for free! Thank you Spitfire
This is outstanding! What a great product. I just got access and could not be more impressed.
Brilliant. Thank you Spitfire Audio.
OMG! This sounds amazing! 😍 Great walkthrough too. 👍
Best walkthrough possible!
Please be cautious with the OM... though please.
Thank you Spitfire!! I just got my download link. I'm a newbie at music and especially my DAW, but Discover sounds FANTASTIC! Thank you so much again for bringing this into reach for me. 💖
I adore this plug-in and use it every day in my music (which is digital + analog, and sounds like jazz in space) Especially love the untuned percussion and I use the flutes and violins and trumpets a lot too. Very realistic sounds, no lag, and really adds to the depth and artistry of a digital song. Hooray!
thank you and thank you very much for this
rich, minimalism, and simple elegant sound 🙏🙂
Excellent. Simply divine! All my old orchestral plug-ins are officially dumped!
Well done Spitfire Audio.
I just signed up for this today. What an amazing free offer! Can’t wait to start using this and learning how to orchestrate. Thank you Spitfire Audio!
Just got the email! Thank you Spitfire 😭😭😭. You’re making everyone’s dreams come true!
I'm sorry, it's not a true Spitfire launch until Paul Thomson is excited.
It was a stealth launch - I was excited in a bunker studio under lockdown!!
Thank you for making this amazing plugin free! I love the sounds, which as a result is giving me more interest in orchestral scoring / film scoring etc something I’ve only ever thought about - until now.
I just received my free copy! Thank you. I can't wait to try it.
Absolutely superb! And amazingly lightweight. Will not forget to pay for it, hopefully soon.
Absolutely amazing. I have it and I adore every piece of it
Oh my god it's free, this is so amazing
This is both an amazing library and an amazing walkthrough to go with it.
Thank you, Spitfire has become by far my favourite place to get quality sounds from.
Thank you for giving this free of costs to me!! I love the virtual instruments.
Made the form to get it free ! That's so generous ! First Labs, and now this, you guys are the best ! Thanks for what you do
Today, i began arranging violins 1 for a full orchestral and very pastrol piece i am doing, and I totally love the sound; so sweet and tender; of course, now i want Kore, lol
As a broke, independent musician. Thank you Spitfire! You really help enable the spirit of music 🖤
This is unbelievable! Just installed my free version! Thank you!!
As a beginner a pro tools template with all the audio included would be amazing so I could take a good look at how it all fits together would be very helpful thank you so much for an affordable amazing sounding orchestra
Absolutely incredible to have this for 49$ or even free. I really, really thank you Spitfire Audio team for what you're doing here. We deeply appreciate it!!
Spitfire are leading the game right now. The quality is just sublime.
Thank you Spitfire! Just amazing...
Soy de Colombia y tuve la maravillosa fortuna de obtener este plugin totalmente gratis de parte de Spitfire!!! Mil y mil gracias por tan maravilloso obsequio!!!
I don't know what to say! you guys are just the nicest people! thanks for the wonderful gift!
I hereby solomnly swear to pay for this one day when i can get back gigging! It sounds fantastic! Add this to Reaper, also either sort of free or just £60 and you have something extraordinary! Thank you!
2001 A Space Odyssey still sounds amazing 😁
Also Sprach Zarathustra :)
This is the best VST walkthroughs I've ever seen
Have used it a couple of times, but after watching this I realise that the key factor is using of automation. Am I right?
Yes If you wanna have a more dynamic and natural sound.
Can you please elaborate what kind of automation you mean? I find this comment interesting and it has me in other tabs learning about automation because it's a new subject to me. I'm wondering how you personally would consider applying it to a VST like this. :)
Arman Dynamics are almost always automated with compositions with orchestral samples, though anything can be automated. Here you can see the tempo is being automated
The amount of tools at a musicians disposal today are staggering!!! Downloading now 😎
This is nuts! I've never been so impressed with a plugin and I've seen many. Do you have a time traveler from the future on your staff or something?
For your next prime cut from the Pro version, how about the leader soloists of violin 1 and 2 viola and cello, with just the close mic position so the Quartet can be placed in a virtual room or treaterd with the user's own reverb configuration?
Spit fire! You guys have a great company ethic. I think I'm gonna learn this library first and upgrade from there. You guys rock!
Thank you dearly! I just got authorization for it today and i could not be happier!!!
Thankyou SpitFire🔥. You guys are awesome.👍
Surely, when I have the money I'll buy from them. Thanks for the free ones.
I'm gonna orchestrate some heat when I get my hands on this. 🔥

Sounds incredible. Makes me want to get into scoring
Give it a shot. So enthralling.
Hey! Thank you very much for giving me the chance to discover this light version of your BBC Orchestra before, some day in the near future I hope, I can buy the full version.
You make my day!!!!
The viola actually sounds more like a horn than a Viola.
But great sound over all.
I did take the survay few days ago. Can't wait to try this out.
This is unbelivably generous! Thank you so much for this Spitfire 👏
this crazy fr. only 200mb for a fire plugin. yall are insane, Spitfire 😂 🔥
I CANNOT WAIT to get the download link for this!!! Thank you!🙏🏼
Amazing sound and quality, all for free? Thank you so much Spitfire
Very excited I got mine after 2 weeks and it’s been 5 days since I got it and I’m just hella hyped for the projects I’m about to make with it 🤩💯🔥
Thank you Spitfire ❤️🙏🏽
Incredible! Absolutely game changing. (Wrong Note at 0:33!)
I can't believe i just got this for free, even £49 would be too little money. I can't thank you enough Spitfire audio! I'm gonna attempt my first fully orchestral piece in celebration 😁
Thank you spitfire. It's a dream for us brazilian composers.
Incredible having such an incredible library for free! Thanks guys! ❤️
I bought ProjectSAM for Reason last winter. An amazing Rack Extension. And now Spitfire Audio comes with this completely free gem making my previous purchases pale in comparison!
I am yet to receive my copy but thanks in advance. When I earn money from music, I swear I will pay u back many times over.
Thank u Spitfire for considering the poor and the downtrodden.
this is a gift to humanity
when i start earning I will donate and buy every thing from from spitfire! such incredible quality vsts for free is insane!
Spitfire you guys are the goat. We appreciate you so much.
Thank you very much guys!
Just received invitation for free download yesterday, and after installation (32bit+64bit), I must say with the size of it I am thoroughly impressed!
I came to personal conclusion, comparing this to say Heavyocity, it sounds very natural where it was recorded, proper, and doesn't need much of additional effects to sit nicely inside given tracks.
I will definitely be looking for larger upgrade very soon 💫
Spitfire Audio just thank you.
😊🐹🙀🙀
OMG!! the person at spitfire audio that has been thinking about us beginners for a while now is a real hero. i can't believe the price tag and... and the size!! 🤔🧐 i mean these instruments sound too good to be true. there is a catch, there definitely is a catch 😅 but i am definitely getting it.
One of the few blessings of living in todays technology and internet .
I have got bbc symphony discovery for week or more. I must say it is more than amazing. I'll save up and hopefully one day ill get my hands on the core edition. I hope one day to make some reviews of it and also suggest it to more people.
