I know that pikaboo is pikaboo, but he just started playing aug and made it to 2400 in 2 days in 4 or 5 lobbies. DH and Frost DK were a struggle, Aug in 2 days.
At the start of shadowlands when ret was broken along with spriest and boomys, I remember watching my friends discord stream of doing triple ret and just 1 shotting everybody. It wasn’t even fair. The other team just fell over in less than 10 seconds everytime.
Cause it is for most, ur just watching MULTI RANK ONE players, destroy at 2200 witch is their play ground for goofy stuff like this. Its having 3 support/utility classes all at the same time, triple ebon, triple heal, triple rescue and so on lol, AUG is nasty asf don't get me wrong, but bruh... 3 of them, ofc its gonna work, and this entire video is them winning, highlights per say. social media influencer type beat.
I saw the thumbnail and thought it was Dev/Pres/Aug and was like "oh, neat. That sounds like a unique comp that can work in the hands of someone skilled like Venruki." but nope it's just Blizzard FotM vomit on the carpet that is Augmentation in PvP. Absolutely insane that tanks aren't allowed in rated but this shit is.
When I heard the news about Aug Evoker back in the day, I was extremely excited to play it before I saw the talents. Got an evoker leveled and geared in pve and pvp as pres and dev and then I saw the talent tree and knew right away it was going to be op. I still enjoy the idea of a support/utility class/spec, but they really need to look at other games like final fantasy and look at their support/utility classes and try and figure out a solution for both pve and pvp. I still have hope they can make it work and see maybe bard come out in the future. Ven thanks for the content as always!
I used to push keys, raid and do rated arenas up till DF.. I stop my m+ pushing around 25 keys usually, I complete my full mythic raid and get to around 2.1k in arenas (depending on season mmr bloats maybe higher). But DF pvp feels so terribly awful that I haven’t touched it past getting my 1800 transmogs for the two seasons 😢 all my pvp friends feel the same way and most of them have already quit.. having aug evokers kinda made it even worse, this role simply doesn’t belong in the game but blizzard want to copy other games so badly that they are willing to ruin WoW just to do that.. 😢
The best fix for this (and PVE, where stacking 4 Augs on specific persons is broken af) is just having a cap with one or maybe two Buffs per player. Best case would be a cap of one in PVP and two in PVE i think. I could be wrong but as far as i am aware the only broken thing about aug is exactly this scenario: stacking aug in 3v3 coordinated arena with 3 players who have good PVP-Knowledge.
3 Augs really show it off blatantly, but Aug/x/healer is still incredibly strong. My personal favourite is Aug/UH DK/Healer, the Aug makes your life 1000x easier as DK and plugs a lot of your weaknesses, while also doing omega damage themselves
Honestly, there needs to be restrictions on class stacking in PvP content. It makes zero sense, in a game with so many classes and specializations, that stacking multiple of the same spec becomes more powerful than diversity. This applies to battlegrounds too. I fought a team today that had 3 affliction locks, and it was pointless to even try.
The spec needed nerfed but blizzard did what blizzard usually does and nerfed it into oblivion instead of trying to fix it. Meanwhile I’ve seen healers that take 5 people to kill. Played wow since the beginning and if it’s one thing I know for absolute certain, this game will never be balanced .
Blizzard nerfed prot pally to the ground. I know how hated we are, but it was honestly so fun to play for me. But then they make this spec, which is literally prot pally with 3x the damage and mobility? And they dont get flamed nearly as much? I think people dont understand this game, especially the devs
Winning at 2.2mmr as 3x rank one players in voice trying hard to win is what can show if a spec is overpowered? Seriously? What about trying the same with fire mage? or arcane mage? or affliction lock? or any hybird with a build that can help them off heal/servive more? and let us see the result please? I'm not defending augmentation or any other spec but I think if 3 rank one players on voice played most of the comps in wow they will be able to get to 2.2 mmr so easily and most likely much higher than that.

wow streamers: if its not mage, monk, or warlock, it needs to be nerfed. its amazing to watch. mage beats everything: its in a good place. hunter beats anything: it needs to be nerfed

Actually Devoker is far better, and it does massive damage, Augmentation is kinda chummy, I always do 1-2 mil damage more than everybody else with Devoker. Desintegrate does 200k + damage if crit even more. And you can do 3 of those in a row.

If it so OP play it your next tournament with money on the line. You won't because it isn't good. But you want to make videos of pro players stomping 2.2 average players at the end of the season and complain about it so Blizzard continues to box the game into unreasonable parameters, which actually cause the game to die.
Streamers love manipulating blizz devs in whatever way they can to build the game they want. Vens favorite way is to make UA-cam videos. By far the most annoying streamer of them all.

This game is so toxic, I tried to comeback and play it after being idle for 8 years, it’s hard to do. Let alone trying to be someone that plays it for the first time. It’s a dying game, people expect you to know 30 something specs and raid bosses all the while raging if they die and calling you names. It was the s**t for its time though.
Aug should be removed from the game, totally it was a bad idea/design, also made A LOT OF PLAYERS QUIT, which is the worst thing for the game/comunity.

Blizzards class design is fun but impossible to balance.
We need new progression systems to compensate for this.
has a bit to do w/ the tier set. makes upheaval do monstrous damage. New tier set may offset that a bit.

Aug will be the first spec that gets “comp locked” preventing you from doing Dungeons or Arena with more than 1 in the group.

It will help your melee on your team do 2-4 times ita damage on top of the burst it brings. Utilities off heals.
