Wow Asmongold wiping his raid over and over while he critiques everyone else amazing...... As a main tank myself he is literally standing in bombs and horrible positioning the boss so his team is standing in or way to close to fire RIP.
I got a genius idea for wasting less time in WoW raiding. Here it goes, boss portals. At the entrance of each raid, a portal will appear that will take you straight to the boss. Portals only appear after the boss has been encountered (pulled). Each boss will have its own portal, titled with the bosses name. It will look similar to a mage portal, but perhaps a different colour and style. When the raid wipes and resets at the entrance of the raid, just enter the portal back to the boss (a safe distance away). That will save hours and please many raiders in the game. Blizzard should make this happen immediately. Would be a massive improvement. ❤

Imagine constantly blaming no heals for dieing, when you spam revenge and don't ry to keep up ignore pain after you step in bad. Not using defensive and dieing. Then blames heals like it's not all your fault. Tanks shouldn't need much more then passive aoe heals and don't druid hots to keep them alive. Lmao blaming a healer when you messed up.
Nitpicking on the gear "enchants" while all you have to do is focus the firewall add immediately even if the bigger add is still up. When that fire wall goes up everyone should immediately down it then go for the second firewall. Every pull you guys did, even the last one, you had several seconds where people were still prime targeting the spawned add. Your team is pulling more dps than ours was and we took him out twice now without much trouble. It's all about those walls.
Not having enchants as a melee dps is insane tho. There isn't any excuse for small terrible brain dead things like not having enchants on your weapons. That is kind of the whole problem. People who don't enchants their weapons don't clear mythic content.

Their team dps had at least 7 people doing 10k more a piece than our team. Either you see the mechanics of the fight or you do not. I have no intention of arguing such a semantic point when we clear this with no problem. Again, the enchant helps but knowing the fight helps quite a bit more than that ever will.
Not having enchants for the hardest content in game is selfish and you are a liability. Just cause you have trash scum in your raid group that still managed to down doesn't meant non enchants is the norm. Stop spreading bs info thats going to get people kicked.

Like every boss just needs a tank swap and cooldowns before they do their big hit, maybe a couple interrupts or adds to taunt. It's fun but it's definitely the easiest role in my opinion.
@@shrubninja6444DPS is by far the easier roll. As long as you have good gear and aren’t literally missing chromosomes, you can do well. You don’t need to be a top 2% player to clear the hardest content, you just have to be competent and know how to play your class. Tanking is the hardest roll of them all.
Guys, chill and enjoy the content, these raids are for the “fun” of people doing bad, item funnel, the idea IS to trigger you for engagement, if you are typing mad comments you are just helping the content train lol Same thing as the old souls games streams where he refused to change his playstyle just to trigger and farm the chatters
What I don't get is a lot of it is played up for the stream, and intentionally bad, then at the same time he'll get "stressed out" or whatever and have to like go into hiding
@TorchBearer90 raid leading randoms wanting to appear in stream and giving up all loot drops from the progression, is completely different from raid leading off stream with people you know
@@Dom-zy1qy heroic and mythic are entirely different, still by far the easiest mythic boss but clearing both rings is a tough dps check in pugs, maybe if you’re in a consistent mythic raiding guild with the first 3 on farm then its free.

Two Things: 1. If you think mythic is like heroic++, then you are wrong at the beginning. 2. Accepting players based on their item level, instead of their successful attempts, is also a not wise move.

Was everything so complicated before in previous expansions? This game is insane in terms of trying to learn the game. I started in shadowlands for instance. And I had help
Barely managed to clear Ulduar 10 and he wants to raid mythic? Idk lul, he can meme all he wants about how "bad" Classic players are but not all Retail players are gods and mythic is quite a step up still too.
@@imbrutall so does in wrath, especially at HM/heroic raids, good players are locked with their guild/community on their main, yes it is easier compared to mythic raids in retail, but still that doesnt mean all classic players are bad and retail players are good.
Actually, I am one of those people that argues that he actually approves of the walks after wipes, the trash mobs and not having teleportes at each boss. I dislike these mechanics in FF14 for example. While I am sure a lot of people see this like Asmon does, and it might even be healthy for the game, I am certain that I like these things. Not because I'm stupid, not because I played WoW forever or because I have not played anything else. But because I actually think that these things benefit the immersion of the game. It makes me feel more immersed in a Raid and the scenery. I think a lot of the immersion in WoW is gone because of convenience features, I personally would not like to see these things changed like Asmon would want them to. While it certainly will not destroy the game, it would make it worse for me personally. With all these changes, raiding would certainly feel more like a Boss fight queue rather than an actual raid you take on with a group.
I think the way they should fix it is by minimizing the amount of "trash" mobs and make them both A) uniquely challenging enough to at least be engaging and B) actually rewarding to kill (like granting small amounts of currency to spend for tier pieces or something like that).
FFXIV just keeps that type of content more casual. The only thing I can think of that has the journey type raid that are also hard to do are the bozja savage alliance raids. Personally I find the journey type dungeons really fun in casual content, but in hardcore content I prefer just slapping the boss and focus on the fight.

@@haitharu Yes pretty much. Brez are shared raid wide, not individual anymore. But at least 1 brez should be saved for the tanks. In Mythic, if 1 player dies, pretty much it is a wipe unless the boss HP is less than 5%. So there should be enough brez for the wipe.
People spend weeks wiping on the same raid and now they blame someone for learning, thats why i dont raid anymore these raid geeks think they are too smart for not having a life

In my opinion Dragon Flight is my second favorite expansion, it’s a bit more fast paced so leveling doesn’t take as long anymore, the new raid is dope af, and the new race/class is a ton of fun as well. The last time I had this much fun with WoW was in wotlk.
I must admit this expac looks fun as I haven't played since WoD. I'm curious how the next patches go and I'm hoping they just get progressively better. The pvp content I've seen in the world even looks fun.
What made Vanilla fun was that you didn't reach max. level in an hour. And with the Dracthyr, I have no idea who designed them but they look nothing like any Dragonkin that's been in the game. Very strange looking

been watching over 4 expacs, he used to (still does) cherry pick overgeared players, and get summoned to bosses. so clearing raids on normal was easy. SL was the stopping point as alliance numbers faded, cherry picking became harder showed in first raids also, but sepulcher is when he started the super raging. he had himself, mccon, and one other that were totally ill geared with gear from the start of SL then getting mad about raid designs, addons, and then horde vs alliance player base which was because the others could not carry them

UH OH, this'll be interesting. Wonder how many bosses they'll get down? 1 at most since first boss is normally a joke in a way and is normally easier than last boss of heroic. Bet he doesn't even get 2 bosses down though. After watching for a bit, yeah this seems a bit harder than I expected...that or they are making it look way harder than it should be. Haven't done any Mythic myself yet so can't say for sure.

@@IanStrain23328 As somebody who played a tank for the entire time I played WoW, I don't understand how you can be bad at tanking. Like every boss just needs a tank swap and cooldowns before they do their big hit, maybe a couple interrupts or adds to taunt. It's fun but it's definitely the easiest role in my opinion.

@@shrubninja6444DPS is by far the easier roll. As long as you have good gear and aren’t literally missing chromosomes, you can do well. You don’t need to be a top 2% player to clear the hardest content, you just have to be competent and know how to play your class. Tanking is the hardest roll of them all.

@@Dom-zy1qy heroic and mythic are entirely different, still by far the easiest mythic boss but clearing both rings is a tough dps check in pugs, maybe if you’re in a consistent mythic raiding guild with the first 3 on farm then its free.

Barely managed to clear Ulduar 10 and he wants to raid mythic? Idk lul, he can meme all he wants about how "bad" Classic players are but not all Retail players are gods and mythic is quite a step up still too.
@@imbrutall so does in wrath, especially at HM/heroic raids, good players are locked with their guild/community on their main, yes it is easier compared to mythic raids in retail, but still that doesnt mean all classic players are bad and retail players are good.
Actually, I am one of those people that argues that he actually approves of the walks after wipes, the trash mobs and not having teleportes at each boss. I dislike these mechanics in FF14 for example.
While I am sure a lot of people see this like Asmon does, and it might even be healthy for the game, I am certain that I like these things. Not because I'm stupid, not because I played WoW forever or because I have not played anything else. But because I actually think that these things benefit the immersion of the game. It makes me feel more immersed in a Raid and the scenery. I think a lot of the immersion in WoW is gone because of convenience features, I personally would not like to see these things changed like Asmon would want them to.
While it certainly will not destroy the game, it would make it worse for me personally.
With all these changes, raiding would certainly feel more like a Boss fight queue rather than an actual raid you take on with a group.
I think the way they should fix it is by minimizing the amount of "trash" mobs and make them both A) uniquely challenging enough to at least be engaging and B) actually rewarding to kill (like granting small amounts of currency to spend for tier pieces or something like that).

FFXIV just keeps that type of content more casual. The only thing I can think of that has the journey type raid that are also hard to do are the bozja savage alliance raids. Personally I find the journey type dungeons really fun in casual content, but in hardcore content I prefer just slapping the boss and focus on the fight.

@@haitharu Yes pretty much. Brez are shared raid wide, not individual anymore. But at least 1 brez should be saved for the tanks. In Mythic, if 1 player dies, pretty much it is a wipe unless the boss HP is less than 5%. So there should be enough brez for the wipe.

In my opinion Dragon Flight is my second favorite expansion, it’s a bit more fast paced so leveling doesn’t take as long anymore, the new raid is dope af, and the new race/class is a ton of fun as well.
The last time I had this much fun with WoW was in wotlk.
I must admit this expac looks fun as I haven't played since WoD. I'm curious how the next patches go and I'm hoping they just get progressively better. The pvp content I've seen in the world even looks fun.

been watching over 4 expacs, he used to (still does) cherry pick overgeared players, and get summoned to bosses. so clearing raids on normal was easy. SL was the stopping point as alliance numbers faded, cherry picking became harder showed in first raids also, but sepulcher is when he started the super raging. he had himself, mccon, and one other that were totally ill geared with gear from the start of SL then getting mad about raid designs, addons, and then horde vs alliance player base which was because the others could not carry them
