My Miata's Exhaust Fell off On The Ring

- This was the very last lap of my trip to the Nūrburgring and the exhaust hangers decided to let go, ended up dragging it back from brunchen 1/3rd of the track to the carpark luckily it held on maybe i should have pulled over and waited for recovery
Exhaust hangers were powerflex and checked before I left for Germany
how many times can one person say SHIT! in one lap? 🤷♂️
mx5 turbo probably around 260-270hp on the day with 30 degree heat probably more like 50 degrees in the car, it was hot......😎

In an ideal world a recovery would probably be best but who's got the money for that haha
In hindsight I know maybe I should have stopped, I'm glad it never completely fell off, it could have been a lot worse..
@@wildey_cars Yeah definitely glad it didn't fall off, then again you would've needed a recovery if it did anyway so its probably worth the risk driving it back
@@wildey_cars Recovery is free if you pull off where the armco is painted orange
@@transgrl Not worth the risk if your exhaust falls off and causes someone else to crash. You'd be paying for their car and maybe more.
@B__L this is genuinely what was going through my head, and to be honest the damage to the exhaust is probably going to cost as much as the recovery would have been, looking back I should have stopped..
