It's poetic in a way. To me this song is like the very feeling behind nostalgia with it's bittersweet atmosphere. It's kinda like the perfect ending to a film, it feels you with that inspirational high but also feeling lost. The untouchable climax that's stained in you. It's poetic cause it's sort of in that feeling as it's a nameless song that must have meant something to someone back then but until now it was also lost. Thankfully it was found even in this nameless condition. It's cute.
@@jenneacubero1036 the voices sound very similar, and they are both post punk, so I think it's possible/likely as long as it can be verified that this song is by sinking ship.
I'm gunna ask my old buddy Bob if he has any idea what band this is. Hes a real genius when it comes to music, especially post punk. Only reason I even made this comment, if anyone can figure it out its be him lol
It was the photograph chosen by Boards of Canada, as the cover for their mixtape that was broadcast on the NTS radio platform, where I first heard the song. The mystery of this song enraptured a lot of us fans of Boards of Canada, until it was solved a few months later by the fan base. I don't know anything else about the photo, unfortunately.

Even though these songs are mysterious, we at least get to listen some bangin tunes.
After all, the goal of an artist is to entertain.
“The sinking ships - strangers”
Where can I find it?

Anyone here from Whang!'s video?
Dabba Hoo I’m here from that video lol
Dabba Hoo The song does sound similar to "Like the Wind". Could Sinking Ships be the singers to it?
Jennea Cubero I also feel it’s similar too both of the voices sound the same and the guitars in my opinion at least
