What length barrel did you use and what was the charge weight of H110?

The 95gr CC is being discontinued.. Their product line is changing a lot. New tipped bullets are replacing the older non-tipped.

    thanks for the test!
I found similar with the .224 in both 32 gr & 38 gr they also did not have any base that continues straight (used in 5.7 x 28). Just fracturing petals the entire length.
I was pretty agitated at first because of what I saw in the heavier .224 & .308 bullets and expected a base.
In the end, I found other choices that do that, so I now prefer having the full-fracture as an option and do have some loaded in defensive magazine.
They have an Xtreme Chaos now that is designed to have a base that actually expands or mushrooms a bit.
Thinking about loading some of those in the ar-10.
I'm wondering if they will even have a base at those speeds.
Only one way to find out, I guess.

Good evening, I like the video. I’m looking for a specific or “perfect” grain/weight (78, 85, 90, 95, 96, 110, 115, 123 or 125 grain) in 300 Blackout for Home Defense that will not over-penetrate. Do you have any advice? I am seriously thinking about reloading. Thank you.

@@DarrylO39 have you watched the 110gr Varmageddon video? It pretty much explodes within a few inches in the gel. No pieces big enough or heavy enough to go much further.
I would like to test it on Sheetrock later to see what it does though.
