  • Have you heard of the Ambition Soldier Tattoo Machine?
    In this video we dive into the depths of the Ambition Soldier Tattoo Machine! We will be unboxing the machine, we take a close up look at the cosmetics, we go over the ease of use, we check out the performance and more!
    If you have been looking into the Ambition Soldier Tattoo Machine by the end of this video you will be more acquainted with the machine.
    After some hours using the Ambition Soldier Tattoo Machine I can tell you why I would recommend this tattoo machine to any tattoo artist. I look for a few major features which are super important to me such as the ease of use from assembly to sterilization, I look for the consistency in the performance, and the build of the machine.
    Upon using the Ambition Soldier I got a nice, smooth, and consistent workflow out of the tattoo machine. The Ambition Soldier Tattoo Machine handled the tests that I threw at it. I was lining with round liners and round shaders in which the Soldier did perfectly fine. I pushed round mags to pack black and the Ambition Soldier did perfectly fine. I pushed a bugpin 08-05RL to test out some pepper shading and the Ambition Soldier did perfectly fine. I am confident this machine can pull lines, pack black, pack color, push larger needle groupings. We can get soft shades or dense heavy lining.
    Not to mention The Ambition Soldier comes with the ability to switch between the wireless battery it comes with or use the RCA input so we can use a standard power supply. Having the ability to switch between the battery or the RCA input is everything and offers more usability. I even ran the machine with a 3rd party wireless battery and it ran perfectly fine.
    All in all the Ambition Soldier is a great investment and well worth it. I would recommend the Ambition Solider to those whom are looking for a powerful machine that can handle the essentials such as lining, shading, packing while not breaking the bank. We get a powerful machine with the ability to use the battery included or switch to an RCA input! That alone is an amazing feature.

    Definitely the best review I’ve seen of a machine. Thank you for this one

  • @josmith8225

    This is a great machine; it does great line work. If your lines are shaky or off, you need to work on your muscle memory. This machine is great for shading and color packing as well. I’m f you don’t know the basics, your tattoos will continue to show flaws. But truth be told; there’s no such thing as the perfect tattoo; even the pro’s on tv even mess up. The better the artist, the harder to visually see their mistakes. Only other artists with experience or people trained to see flaws by artists ,will point out mistakes. Learn the basics, then apply the imagination.

    I we got mine a month a go and i am using it everyday mostly on fake skin, this mashine is pure gold 👌🏻 in the Netherlands the price is around 200€ and for that amount of money, it is definitely really good product and excellent quality of it.
    Definitely recommend this machine.
    One extra plus is that the battery lasts around 9-12 hours, which is amazing for a mashine of 200€.

    I purchased a similar Ambition wireless tattoo machine (the second one down on the pamphlet you showed in the beginning of this video) last black Friday for like $90.. the motor is a little smaller than the Soldier.. actually the same size as the CNC q-series 2607 Faulhaber motors. I was actually going to switch the motor from the Ambition machine with the extra 2607 Faulhaber motor I have, but the original motor runs so smooth I couldn't bring myself to replace it. (If it ain't broke, don't fix it!) I actually want to get the Ambition/XNET Flux clone next.

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  3 роки тому +1

      Haha I hear you bro!! I would have the very same thought process. Why potentially damage something that already works great.
      I personally like ambition products! I also have a stainless steel grip I want to review that has held is ground.
      Bro I know exactly which one you’re talking about! I want to get my hands on that XNET Machine as well! I have seen that one and I feel a lot of people would want more insight on that specific machine.

    • @graffics7665
      @graffics7665 3 роки тому

      @@DanielYuck I also have an Ambition adjustable cartridge grip.. for like $20 you can't beat it! Yeah unfortunately the only place I've seen the XNET Flux clone is AliExpress, & that can take a month or two to get. The crazy part is it's not China's fault. Shit ordered from AliExpress gets from China to the U.S. within two weeks. Once it's at U.S. customs, it can take months to get to you through USPS!

    • @graffics7665
      @graffics7665 3 роки тому

      @@kingpin7968 yeah the XNET/Ambition machine that I have looks similar to the Elite (I did a quick UA-cam upload on it). It us very smooth running. I also have both the 3.5 & 4mm cams for it. I actually think XNet/Ambition make better machines than Solong/Hawink/CNC (which is also all the same company) & Dragonhawk. Like I said in the other post, I was going to take the Faulhaber motor from my Hawink CNC Q1 machine & put it into my wireless XNET machine, because the CNC runs a little rough & the Ambition is silent. It actually runs so well that I left it alone. I'm just not quite used to it because the machine I use most is my CNC Q3 machine. That one also runs very smooth. The only problem with the CNC Q machines is they're not consistent. Some run a little rough, some have issues with the push bar breaking.. etc.

      @DanielYuck  3 роки тому +2

      Haha yea bro! It’s a solid tattoo machine. For the price we definitely get that value. It’s an all around workhorse and great machine!
      Performance was great, consistent voltage from the wireless battery and from a wireless power supply, same applies to a standard power supply.
      It pushes all configurations from round shaders, round liners, mags, and handles everything I threw at it. I’ll be using this machine in the follow along series as well so I should be able to speak more on it later on.

      Thanks for the comment and support Victor!
      For shading I like to run at around 5-6 volts. I like to stay in the lower voltage range when shading because I like to layer my shading. So running at a lower voltage gives me more time to work on the skin.

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  3 роки тому +4

      That’s a great question! I personally like both of the machines. Both are great. For me personally I would definitely choose the Ambition Soldier over the Mummy Rotary kit.
      Not because the mummy kit is bad, it’s actually a really good value for the money. This is 110% just solely my opinion. The only real thing that makes me pick the Solider over the Mummy is the mummy machine I reviewed recently is small. Don’t get me wrong small machines are awesome and the compact size is great overall. Long term I would have used more resources such as grip tape to make up for the lack in size. It’s just minor stuff like this as the Solider is a bit bigger which is my preference which is what ultimately made me choose that machine.
      Both machines perform and are amazing, it would come down to the appearance and sizes of the machine, as in what the tattoo artist felt more comfortable using. A small machine, bigger machine.

      @@DanielYuck I really appreciate your feedback! My only concern about the soldier is that I don’t believe it has a jumpstart feature like the ninja does on initial startup. Have you had any issues running stiffer membrane carts? Please correct me it I’m wrong.
      I’m doing experimental abstract blackwork, japanese traditional, and op art/geometric tattoos so I pull a lot of bold lines and a ton of solid fill. Rca cords are driving me crazy so I need something more maneuverable that packs ink with minimal effort. The 4mm stroke is a huge plus.

    • @DanielYuck
      @DanielYuck  Рік тому +2

      Every single machine is different and will vary from person to person. Someone may run their machine full time at 9 volts and others may run theirs at 7 volts even. The person that is running at 9 volts will likely experience problems before the person running at 7 volts simply because the 2 volt difference.
      Take in account handle & care, maintenance, etc all of this determines how long a machine will last. In a nutshell decent machines will typically last 3-5 years plus, while more prestigious machines can do 5-10 years. Please Note: that this is speculation and not concrete.
      Lifespan will always vary.
