My very well meant advice to you: Teach more in terms of intervals rather than absolute notes. Yes, you said "6 to the 2" in the D major scale. But you know probably better than I do that the color of any harmony or voicing comes from the relative structure of its tonal constituents. I'm not suggesting to only use numbers, as many guitar instructors do for example ("put your 4 finger on the 5th string of the 3rd fret"....) but mix it in a bit. Instead of saying "D", say "the minor 7 of this E chord, which is a D" and variations of stuff like that once in a while. Throw in a bit of info about what colors certain intervals give. Experienced musicians can pick this sort of stuff up more easily, as they know these intervals in and out. This helps them to understand your lessons more deeply and makes transposing easier. And for less advanced players, it constantly reinforces that knowledge and helps them to see beyond individual notes.
John Redberg Thanks for the advice it is greatly appreciated!👍🏼👍🏼
YES, you're right. In fact it's a V I in Em : B 7 13 sus, then B7 b9, then the I, Em 7 9 11. Even if this one is a temporary I, it's much more easier for transposing and correct in terms of harmony.
Or, more simply : F#m7/B (which is the II/V), then B7 b9 (V), then E m7 9 11 ((I) : this progression is a II, V, I with II/V as first chord instead of II.
U explained really good Cesar.
When u say 6 to the 2. It's easy to understand too.
Thanks this is great content! good luck with the channel you deserve more subs and I'm sure you'll get them!

Brandon House Thank you
What vst sounds are you using i here the motif powergrand but it sounds like a bell sound stacked with it what's that sound???
I'm curious on your process on how you can hear those quick movements? thank again.
Honestly a lot of watching, asking, practicing. I've done everything and anything. That's why I like to share so much to help out because I'm also learning and growing everyday! The process never ends. The more you practice the easier it gets to learn something but then you find something challenging again and it feels like you are back at the beginning. You never stop learning you keep finding new ways to learn. Sometimes you have to learn with a different approach each time not always the same. Stay tune as we will share more and some exciting announcement on special guests.
very good, I liked it

Nice video
Wayne Hawley Thanks
Thank you so much
That first one really isn't a passing progression to the 2 if you think about it. It's more like a filler move while STAYING on the 6th.
You are right I like that explanation!! Thank you for sharing it is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks man
What software is that?
I appreciate it
Bro do you give one on one lessons?
Sou brasileiro muito bom obrigado

andre clark Thanks👍🏼
3:37 F7/B then, or B7 b5 b9!
nezkeys79 on 3:37 the chord is a B7b5b9.👍🏼
Shared Soundz i thought i just said that too? its also F7/B as you didnt include the 5th (F#) XD
nezkeys79 Yeah it's the same I was agreeing with you.👍🏼😊
No F7/B, but F#m7/B (which is the II/V), then then B7 b9 (V), then E m7 9 11 ((I) : this progression is a II, V, I with II/V as first chord instead of II.
mui bom
