Recycled graphics from 2015, optimization non existent, stale combat from FO (without vats), animations from Oblivion, dead empty and sterile world, weak main story, uncreative side quests (90% of them), dull generic factions and enemies, irritating and boring companions and NPCs in general, even more boring, super-slow and mostly useless 'planetary exploration', complete lack of vehicles, terrible AI, woke propaganda, typical Bethesda's bugs, endless loading screens... so yeah, it's pretty bad but I admit it's kinda addictive after awhile like all Beth's games, like a cheap booze: you know it's bad but you keep drinking.
There is a game here, and modders will make it complete. But I truly just wish Bethesda would make a openworld sandbox with no main story. Because they don't have good writers anymore. The good writers have all left Bethesda and are working on more creative games.
Having played with half a dozen Skyrim modded companions with 4000+ lines each makes the vanilla Starfield ones feel very bland. I’m just waiting for mods to soup things up.
If you are playing on hard, don't have skill points in that weapon, are using low tier weapons, are using primarily automatic weapons, then enemies will feel bullet spongey. At a certain point you need to use advanced weapons only, because of the DPS. Legendary weapons can be really lousy if they aren't advanced weapons. A high level requires high tier weapons.
For sure, I was in a weird weapon limbo for a little until I started getting more advanced weapons. Doesn't feel as bad now, but some enemies are still spongey
@AdoinkAdoink The game also doesn't scale with you entirely. Level 90+ enemies are always supposed to be hard to kill. I'm at around level 80, and often, one bullet will take out one health bar. You wouldn't complain about Deathclaws being hard to kill. The level 70+ Star systems are supposed to be hard.
Honestly I got used to it, but it's annoying just walking 400 to 1000 meters with nothing else going on. Ends up feeling like the exploration has too much downtime. Also, glad you enjoyed the review!
@@AdoinkAdoink Its stated that the boost pack is supposed to be our form of transporation, but its clearly not enough. We need a mars rover looking all-conditions dirt bike for transporation that we can purchase and upgrade and leave in the exit bay. Doesn't need to be 80mph, just make it the equivalent of 40mph so it doesn't trivialize the distance traveled and size of the maps.
Id agree about the running on the surface. A buggy would be nice. So far im loving starfield and i got it free so for people to criticise it is just dum. No game is perfect and this is still a good game despite weird people saying its totally trash. If you dont like space games why leave a review saying its crap. Play something else.
@@christianflex4all I noticed this too, the game is getting crazy hate, even from people who aren't playing it. I guess it's just the popular thing to do but like, cmon. It's got some issues but it isn't the worst game put out like they're making it seem
It’s not a question of hate. It’s just badly done on so many levels. Yeah, there’s some good stuff in there too. But the exploration? Awful. NPCs? Lifeless. Dialogue? Bland. Enemy variety? Poor. New Atlantis? Totally soulless. Even the “good” bits, like cyberpunk cities and first-person gunplay, have been done better elsewhere. This is not hating; it’s just noticing stuff. And not overvaluing mere size/scale.
The companions in Starfield are an incredible cast that will stick with you for YEARS after you've finished the game! You've got Sarah Morgan - she's a middle-aged English lady and she's always looking to better the world we live in! Then you've got Andreja, she's a Russian lady and that's pretty neat. Then you've got Sam Coe, a old Western type who has a daughter so that's pretty cool. And once in a while, after sitting through a few minutes of friendly dialogue, your companions will give you a really cool gift like some food or a piece of iron! The best part is that no matter which companion you choose, they are all "good" which is really nice - no evil characters here!
It's a classic bethesda game. So you immediately know what you're in for. They're popular buggy games for a reason. You can be as cheesey as you want, or try to stay within the framework of the game. I use cheese to compensate for game glitches/problems. I back up my saves. and I've had allot of fun :D
Didnt like the characters. World has no soul. Story had no gravity. 90% of the game is looking at the map screen and loading a fast travel.
You must be sat there looking at the map 90% of your playing . Try playing the game . Navigation needs maps and your figure of 90% is just ridiculous.

This was an amazing review dawg 👏🏾
I appreciate the kind words, glad you liked it!
Reviews like this makes me thing how crucial the mods going to be to perfect this game.

and been replaced with woke writers which suck
@@kreature6618 Yall keep saying woke but what does woke even mean?

Really appreciate this review. I'm having a great time and think the dialogue is spot on. Need a rover or transport on the planets though.
use the jump trooper style pack , slingshot off of npc ships, use old fallout 4 tricks to gain speed.

Great review! The game sounds great, but man having no form of faster form of travel on the planets sounds like a rough time.

This guy deserves more subs
My game is glitched out and has a ship stuck in my regular ship tbh if I can send a photo it will explain the situation a little better

Almost every system in this game is just one mod away from being 10/10. Nice review!
You can’t be serious bruh this game is just bad
It's really not, but you're allowed to dislike it!
