One of my favorite little details that you notice on a second viewing is Merrill explaining his all-time strike-out record at the army recruiting office by saying _"It felt wrong not to swing."_
I got the "see" and "swing away" but this was the first time realizing "tell Bo to listen to her brother....he will always take care of her" was specific to the scene with dog when Morgan told her not to run and he protected her by having to kill their beloved dog...I always thought that was just a generalization to be had thoughout their lives.

This movie is so special to me. I went to the theater excited from loving Sixth Sense and expecting something well made, but creepy or supernatural. I wasnt prepared for just how emotionally touched I was. How personally it hit my life at a time when I needed to be asked what kind of person are you. Later when my husband passed, this movie helped again. I saw how everything in my life lead me to him. And to prepare me to be my son's mother. I didnt know what the future would bring but it helped remind me to have faith that life had been building to create these moments, life without him too. Without getting to deep into my own spiritual journey, it helped me on my journey to keep the faith.
Such a great testimony...many of us have situations in our lives that seem insurmountable..family issues.. loss.. struggling to make our way in the world...however God doesn't give you difficulties.. he's given us everything we need..to live..to grow..to succeed... it's the individual who must reach out and accept those offerings... Personally I grew up under less than loving conditions and lost my only child when he was 16... throughout my life and I'm 71 now.. I never asked 'why me Lord..how could you allow this ?'...God would not hurt His children...the world is full of danger and sometimes we are unable to stop the freight train barreling towards us...our saving grace is love of Jesus...just as I know I wasn't able to stop what happened to my son.. I also know he is waiting to greet me for he lives...so too does your loved ones... May your path be bright and your road be gentle...we all will meet again...🙏... 🌿🌿🌿
One of my favorite details about this film is that the baby monitor only goes off twice, and both times it's when the family are all together and connected. I love that so much. For some reason I didn't realize that till I started reading this comment section. I'm so mad I missed the payoff of her leaving water around
At the end all comes Together. The water glasses left all around, Alien hate water. Merrill Had the Most Power in His swing, to Hit the Alien hart..the almost dead mother told ti swing. The Boy has Asthma so He didnt breath the poison. All little Things come Together. Its all destiny.
I'm a huge m night fan. Loved the reaction and all you shared with us. This is my favorite movie He's ever done. Another good one by him is the village.
This movie is seriously perfect to me. It’s the best “everything happens for a reason” movie ever. So beautifully written. God works in mysterious ways. M Night loves to let your imagination do the scaring too. Instead of showing you the aliens a lot, they show you sounds and shadows. The IDEA of them being out there is terrifying, and every actor captures that perfectly. When the little boy gasps at the end, when he finally takes air, it makes you gasp with him. Like you couldn’t breathe either. So well done, one of my favorites of all time. Great reaction brother!
ahh favorite movie of all time!!! - Some of the best quotes ever - "im insane with anger" - "why can't they get girlfriends?" "move children, vamanos" lol oh so great!
I read a comment once where someone criticized the screenplay because the kids on tv were in Brazil, so Merrill should have said vamos instead of vamanos. My thought was, why would an uneducated jock like Merrill be thinking about which South American countries speak Portuguese vs Spanish, much less be familiar with the Portuguese word? That's excellent screenwriting in my book!
I absolutely love living in the country. I have chickens for eggs, dogs, cats, a few exotic pets. I can crank my guitar amplifier, shoot in the backyard, grow a big garden. The bad parts are that it takes a half hour to get to the store, go to work, coyotes at night (and other animals like raccoons), mice are always trying to get in. But I wouldn't go back to living in town. I love it!
Thanks for being 1 of the few people to answer that question. That sounds like an absolutely wonderful time, except the Vermin of course. That is 1 of my wife's biggest dreams, owning land and growing her own food.
@FrankFreezy_ I think that's the Skarsgard family where all of the brothers act. The Culkins are 8 and most have acted as extras when they were kids, but only three are professional actors. Macaulay, Kieran and Rory.
Sorry about the loss of your father, that's a very sad story. I was a baby when I lost my dad and getting towards my 30s now I've been able to see how I still dealt with grief growing up and not realising how it effected me from a child, even though I don't remember him, until recently. Good reaction as always! The "last supper" scene is amazing and heart-breaking. This movie sad but very funny throughout, glad you laughed in it! There's so much you pick up on rewatches of this film! Bo's water, Morgan's asthma, Merril's inability to not swing and the wife's final words were all 'signs' directing towards something bigger in the universe. There is more to coincidences than just luck, there is a greater meaning or power. Coleen telling Mel Gibson to "see" was for him to 'see' all these synchronicities and give it meaning. M Night always has deeper meanings in this film and while you referred to the grief as the "b story" I actually think alien invasion is the b story of the film and their lives. M Night talks about how he immigrated to the US as a child and found it different to the spiritual life he experienced in India where Hinuism was apart of so much culture and not just a place you pray on Sundays. He made this with questioning the atheistic side of the Us with the spiritual side of India as an inspiration for the themes. Also, it needs to be said M Night gets amazing performances from children!! One thing I noticed on like a 6th or so watch (lol!) is it definitely seems liek the mother and Bo have dreams of the future. Morgan's birth story is about how she had dreamt him all her life and he was exactly from her dreams and Bo hints this througout and said "she doesn't want Morgan to die" and then when he's having the asthma attack "I dreamt this"
It all tied together. Merrill saying “it just felt wrong not to swing” about his strikeout record, all the water Bo didn’t drink left around the house, the wife had to die in order to save them in the future, so smart!
Oh my goodness I did not realize it until this moment. The water she left around the house was what saved them. That is such a great detail I missed. Thanks for mentioning that. At the end of the movie, in the back of my mind, I felt like the whole thing of her not finishing her water and leaving glasses everywhere didn't lead to anything. My brain was probably too occupied with Merrill beating the s*** out of the alien lol
"There's a monster outside my room, can I have a glass of water?" Fun Fact: Theatrical movie debut of Abigail Breslin. Practical Over CGI Fact: The crop circles are real, as M. Night Shyamalan doesn't particularly like using CGI. Movie Magic Fact: The aluminum foil hats worn by Bo (Abigail Breslin) and Morgan (Rory Culkin) were made of chrome painted Beeswax paper. Green Thumb Fact: The production used a new watering technique to make the corn grow faster, which the Delaware Valley agricultural college was then very keen to adopt for themselves. After filming, the film company donated all the corn grown to the college's vegetable and fruit market. Location Location Fact: Only the scenes in the bookstore and the pizza shop were filmed in Newtown, PA. The drugstore scene was filmed in Morrisville, PA. The scenes of the house and cornfields were filmed on forty acres, that were leased to the film company by Delaware Valley College (an agriculture college) of Doylestown, PA. The house was built on the grounds and torn down after filming. Delaware Valley College is acknowledged in the credits at the end of the film.
I don’t do horror either. Hey!! You should do “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”. It’s very suspenseful, a little humor mixed in, and an element of the UFO 🛸 scene. I think you’ll like it. It’s one of my all time favorites. Richard Dreyfuss in the starring role. You won’t be sorry you watched it. 😊
I've been binge watching your reaction videos and did not realize that you made the art in the background. Omg! They are beautiful. Just came here to say that. 😊
This is one of my favorite movies. I am a horror wimp, but I loved this movie and the way they treated the scarier aspects of the movie. So many people have issues with this movie, but the ending is just beautiful.
Hello my fellow horror wimp lol.. And yes. I love that about the movie as well. I love that we saw the aliens only from the family's perspective and how it affected them. I think that was brilliant
I love this movie. It's on the great end of the large gap between good and very not good M. Night Shyamalan movies. Another one that, for me, is on the better end, though not as good as this one or The Sixth Sense, is Lady in the Water. It started as a bedtime story he told his young children and he ended up making it into a movie and I think it's really good. You might like it, too.
I met Mel Gibson once. I was working on a series on Rosarito with his son Chris. Mel came to visit and he brought us gifts and food!!! Great guy!!!! He bought for the entire production!!! And he went into town to party too!! Great times!
All of the little miracles/"signs" is what I love about this movie: -The mother's visions and final words -Bo constantly leaving glasses of water all around the house (used against the alien) -Morgan having asthma, so when he inhaled the poison gas it didn't make it into his lungs as his airway was closed. It all ties together so well
"Is it possible that there are no coincidences?" I think this movie is built around this thought. Everything that happened, even the tragedies fit together like a puzzle. From heartbreak came healing in ways nobody saw coming. I think a lot of people that have faith in God experience things like Graham; events that seriously call that faith into question. It makes sense to doubt, but if we never know sorrow, how can we truly know happiness? Religiously speaking it reminds me of Romans 8:28 "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." Morgan's asthma, Bo's strange habits, Merrill's strikeouts and even Graham's wife, Colleen's death... everything worked together for the ultimate good. There are no coincidences. Even when things get unbelievably rough, those hardships are paving the way for the ultimate good. Thanks for this reaction, Frank! I love listening to your thoughts and I adore your artwork!
Great reaction, Frank! I laughed when you said “you’re just raw doggin this with no weapons?” 😂 Also, I wanted to comment on how much I agreed with your thoughts on religion and believers vs. non believers. When you said, “It’s just when those belief systems start infringing on other people’s lives and other people rights, that’s when I have an issue.” I thought, Yes! Exactly this! 💕 By the way, I appreciate how introspective you are while watching these movies and how you then share your life experiences with us. I’m sorry about your father💙 Losing a parent is difficult even as an adult, so to have to deal with that as a child must be unbearable. Thank you for sharing your story with us. 🙏
Frank, I love your channel so much! As soon as both partners in our family are employed again, I’m going to buy a painting. We’re artists too, and we love your work! Love from Texas.
I live in rural Kansas. Our house for years was very much like this one. Only my hubs painted it a beautiful yellow. I am a city girl. Brought up in Los Angeles. So this was all culture shock. We had a big corn field. My autistic, non verbal son would run into it. He thought it was a game but it was terrifying for me chasing through the cornfields. I would call and call. Sometimes I could hear him laugh. Or see the stalks wave a little but a lot was me running & sinking in the mud. My dad would always bring up this movie when he'd visit. "Not helping, Dad."😂
I watched this when I was like 8 and my brother 9. The memory of him seeing that scene and just being like "nope" and just walked out the room is still funny to me
Something I've noticed about M Night - he always gets the performance he wants out of his actors. And the work he does with kids is A+ Abigail Breslin and whichever Culkin this is 😅 give amazing performances for as young as they are. Little Miss Sunshine should be your next step for Breslin. She's just adorable. We expect great work from Mel and Joaquin (M Night works wirh Joaquin again in The Village), but I think Signs might be Mel's best role. He's so awkward "Explain act crazy..." and broken (A dinner scene Spielberg would be proud of) until he has to call on his faith once more to save Morgan.
This is my favorite Shyamalan movie, and that dinner scene will always get to me. The devestation that Mel Gibson expresses as a man terrified for his family, but has to hold it together for all of their sakes against every opposition, he's just masterful having to play someone who is broken.
That was genuine Joy right there😂😂It was extra funny because merill had made jokes about it's being a "hoax by nerds who never had girlfriends" And now look at him with a pointy ass tin foil hat lol comedy perfection
When Mel Gibson’s character has that moment at the door, holding the handle, as they’re trying to come in.. and he says “I’m not ready..” he’s not saying I’m not ready to hold the door and keep them from getting in.. He’s saying he’s not ready to give up yet, he’s not ready to die.

My fave from M.Night are Sixth sense, Signs and also Unbreakable with Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson. Im glad you are enjoying these and I love your insights.
One underrated moment that can be found unnerving about this movie is the scene where Beau says that every station is showing the same thing. I was about to turn 8 when 9/11 happened, and I remember trying to change the channel on the TV after my mom tried her own explanation of what happened when we got home from school. Every single channel was either following a network coverage of the attacks or was off-air so people could follow news on the attacks. When Signs came out the following year, hearing that made me immediately think something crazy must be going on.
This was one of the movies my dad rented for family movie night. I was 6 years old and man this sure left an impression on me. By the end of the movie, my legs were literally shaking from the adrenaline and fear for what I had just watched. Couldn't sleep for 3 weeks. Didn't help that the attic door in our house was in my bedroom closet.
When you were saying its selfish for us to think we are the only ones out there, it reminded me of the movie Contact. I recommend that one if you haven't already seen it. Similar to Arrival.
Always loved this movie, it really keeps you on the edge of your seat, and yet it was scary without being macabre. The ending always gets me, Graham walking out of the scene in his reverend’s suit.
Hi there, good afternoon 😊. I've been watching a few of your videos and I wanted to say I really appreciate that you don't swear a lot in your videos. You seem like a very kind person. Something that stuck out to me while watching Signs was your brief testimony of how you were brought up and I really liked listening to it. Something I hear a lot when Something bad happens is "why did God let this happen?" And what I believe is that everyone had free will, right? We all have choices to make, and sometimes those choices have consequences. And I'm not saying someone dying is their fault. Not at all. God doesn't force us to do anything. But when Something bad happens, sometimes as believers, we look to God and ask why or blame Him and I understand why. I believe God is very loving and good. That doesn't mean when a child of His dies he isn't sorrowful.
I always come back to this movie. It's so smart to combine Night of the Living Dead (stranded in the house) with Hitchcockian elements (showing characters reactions first before the thing), and you throw in some family bonding. It makes it a comfort movie for me.
“I’m pretty strong, and I’m pretty fast, and I was running as fast as I could, and it’s like this guy was just toying with us” idk why I love that line
"I'm not ready " He was talking to God. He has lost his faith and has given up on God, and then realizing that God has not given up on them, or us, for that matter. First time seeing this. Loved it.
My favorite Shyamalan movie. After I saw it the first time, I realized this isn’t really an alien movie. It’s really the story of a man who lost his faith because of a tragedy and, through a series of extraordinary “coincidences”, he regains his faith. The alien stuff was just the vehicle to get him through his faith journey. Glad you reacted to it.
I'll never understand the hate this movie gets. The dinner scene here and the car scene from The Sixth Sense are perhaps my favorite scenes Shyamalan has done. Absolutely incredible scenes, that always leave me in awe. I think Night is always so great with emotional family stuff and can get so intense performances out of the actors. Gibson really should have been given an oscar nomination for this. Signs is one of the few movies that gave me nightmares as a child and still I continued on my quest to wear out that vhs. 😁 It might have been one of the first movies I saw which had horror elements in it and I grew up to be a big horror fan. And I think I own Signs a thanks for steering me in that direction, because there are so many awesome horror movies to see. For me this is one of the most powerful films ever made, with an all time great score by James Newton Howard. Never getting rid of that cd. 😄 I really enjoyed your reaction and thoughts on this and will surely subscribe for more.
Those two scenes you described from this movie and the Sixth Sense are some legendary and emotional scenes. I agree with you. That is our interest in that this movie led you towards horror movies. It would have definitely done the opposite for me at that age🤣🤣 Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the video
i have just watched 4 movies with you that I have already seen. You are so calming to listen to and show your emotions with such honesty and how a real man should be able to show emotions freely. Your narration and input of your opinion is amazing. Long story short you are so interesting to watch and listen and give me a feeling of such calm that I have missed for many years. Thank you. You're right about Morgan being in Home Alone. But he wasn't Kevin. He played one of Kevin's little cousins, but he and the actor who played Kevin are brothers.
oh wow, nice. I watched this when came out, but in a small theater in the far north of Germany in Kiel, where I grew up. It cost €2,50, I think the Euro had just become our new currency. And I saw it about seven times, every time I was alone. I love all the human elements and the rest, too. and the leg and the whole alien on home video, those two scenes, I consider top 25 or something jump scares ever in a bigger movie. much love as always from Hamburg in Germany :)❤ edit: what am I talking about, I *just* moved back to my hometown, I'm finally with my love and her son after knowing her since 2007, when we were around 20...which is the best thing to happen to me, ever...cause I pretty much went through hell prior, and, bro...one reason I talk to you so much, is because there wasn't much besides watching you and others on UA-cam that kept me from 'things' you don't share on UA-cam. sorry for still oversharing there. I did, when we interacted here, always hide that and keep it on subject, still always honest...as depressed people often do. so, much love from Kiel in Germany ❤ :)
I think 1 of my favorite parts about my channel and interacting with you guys is hearing your first experiences with the movies that I am just now watching. I know that feeling of watching a movie so many times because you love it so much. when Avengers Infinity war came out, I probably watched it like 9 times. Thanks for sharing my friend. Sounds like you guys have a beautiful thing going on. Always f feel free to chat and share as much as you want. Always have a good time reading your comments. I'm glad you're in a better place now ❤❤🧡🧡
My favourite movies by the same director are a trilogy of movies Unbreakable/ Split/ Glass. I reckon you’ll enjoy every second of those 3 movies. I hope you react to them in the future. Keep up great work brother.
Wow, your art is beautiful! I love this movie!!! The kids party is in my country, when I heard them speaking Portuguese I reacted just like Merrill 😮😂 Heart warming alien movies: ET, Coccon, Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind. The classic Alien + Aliens perfection is a must! Scary ones: No one will save you, Fire in the sky, Fourth kind, Dark skies and many others. I'm both terrified and fascinated with everything aliens 😂
What I love about this movie is that it's so deep, there's so many layers. You'll catch different things through multiple watches. Like in the beginning of the movie, Houdini pees in the kitchen. Graham says he'll have the local "people doctor" look at him, despite Morgan's protests "He doesn't treat animals". But then later in the film we learn through a tiny easter egg that Ray Reddy is the local vet (we see it on his mailbox)....so he could've taken the dog to Ray, but didn't, because of the accident. A second watch at the very least is important because you can look for the things that are connected to the twist ending. This is the case for many of Shymalan's films. But it wasn't until like the 10th watch that I noticed at 36:54 when Graham looks out the window that the crickets suddenly stop chirping. When you combine the crickets with him slowly backing away from the window and then quickly leaving the room, I think in that moment he saw the creatures starting to move out of the corn field towards the house. On another note, Bo very likely started having her premonitions and dreams not long after Colleen's death and they've been going on for months. What's kind of sad is her father is probably well aware she's having these dreams but probably very easily wrote them off as just "kid's stuff" or "overactive imagination", because at that point in his life he'd all but given up on anything supernatural.
Omygosh! That's little Little Miss Sunshine! By the way, another movie you'd probably really really really love. And the boy was indeed a Culkin, Rory! He the Home Alone's brother. :)
This is one of my favorite movies, and I just want to say thank you for such a genuine reaction with thoughtful comments throughout. I just discovered your channel and this is the first video I wanted to watch. Instant subscribe. Thank you! 😁
I love that for you. Definitely have his benefits. My in-laws live in the country, and anytime we go visit for the weekend, that piece of having no noise and it's being very peaceful is something I really enjoy
I love how all it takes is a change of music for your eyes to get wide and whole demeanor to change 😂 loving your reactions, don't forget Dances With Wolves 😎👍💯🔥
You already know😂😂 the music says a lot about the movie. Based on this comment, you’re absolutely going to love the intro on my arrival reaction. I’m watching dancing with wolves on Sunday🌟✌🏾
I am a lifelong asthmatic. That was very VERY real. You can calm a person and ease an asthma attack, but without the rescue inhaler it’s hard to get the lungs open especially in a dank dusty environment like a basement. So, needing to get his inhaler is real because people have died without it.
Random aside .. I saw some sort of thing in the sky outside my house with my neighbor.. we were sober .. we aren’t crazy .. completely silent .. heavily forested area and for about 3 seconds it was clear then disappeared out of sight into the trees in the distance probably about 500-600 feet in the air
Good reaction! I thought after Sixth Sense you wouldn’t watch any M Knight movies anymore. Hope you react to The Patriot and Hacksaw Ridge if you haven’t already. I promise not scary at all
19:33 this is my favorite scene. I just love the breakdown on different people. It’s so true. I don’t believe everything happens for a reason (signs) so I would probably be very scared
When he says "I'm not ready" during the attack, he doesn't mean just not being prepared for the attack, he means he's not ready to die. It's heavily implied he's accepted that he and his family are going to die leading up to the attack. Hence their last meal.
Frank you are so sweet and interesting! Thank you for getting personal- your story was so relatable. Your perspective on the films I've watched with you is very poignant. I can't wait for you to see Little Miss Sunshine, (Bo) is in that and i an even better role ❤
💗💗Thanks for your sweet words. I find getting personal with my own story in this reactions so liberating so thanks for all acknowledging that. I just added Little Miss Sunshine to my list because of you, and bo of course. she was amazing
6:51 - Frank: "I just hope this movie don't have any scary elements in it.. cause, your boy's fragile like that." Literally one second later, little girl: "There's a monster outside my room can I have a glass of water?" ...ahhh...
This movie is so so so good but aliens are something that freak me out so it’s hard to watch. And it’s about the suspense of the aliens vs the aliens themselves. But how it all comes together from a storytelling perspective is perfect
One thing worth noticing is the confusion behind him calling the human doctor for the dog in the beginning (ray Reddy was the vet , it’s a blink and you miss it on the mailbox) didn’t want to call the man who hit his wife .. love that detail This movie is all about faith though .. everything happened for a reason
My son has always left half empty glasses of water everywhere. My husband and I have been waiting for aliens to show up for 10 years now. 😂😂😂
Hahahaha best comment😂😂 y’all are gonna be ready when they show up⚾️⚾️

Nice reaction. I love that this is a movie about Faith that Pretends to be an Alien movie .
It's not only a horror movie. It's more a supernatural sci-fi thriller too.
I love how Bo's annoying habit of leaving water glasses helps Merrill save Morgan.
I love that so much. For some reason I didn't realize that till I started reading this comment section. I'm so mad I missed the payoff of her leaving water around

Perfectly said. So many great details about the film. Thank you for watching

I read a comment once where someone criticized the screenplay because the kids on tv were in Brazil, so Merrill should have said vamos instead of vamanos. "Best quotes ever"?
Yeah, "Casablanca" would like a word...
Our family quotes this a lot.
This is one of my favorite movies. It makes you feel a whole range of emotions.
Absolutely. It's also great for rewatching
11:58 That’s the Home Alone kid’s brother!
I'm pretty sure the little sister later starred in "Little Miss Sunshine".
@@MrVvulf yes! Abigail Breslin.
Signs was her first big movie
That's so cool. I heard there's like 7 of them and they all act
@@FrankFreezy_ it’s a lot of dots to connect. lol
“Signs” is the name of the film of course 😊
I was shocked you didn't pick it up haha. Amazing hey?@@FrankFreezy_

"There's a monster outside my room, can I have a glass of water?"
Fun Fact: Theatrical movie debut of Abigail Breslin.
These are some very fun and interesting facts. Thanks for sharing
You're welcome. My pleasure.

Wow. That's cool info.
dang but that was a nice house tho
I don’t do horror either. Hey!! You should do “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”. It’s very suspenseful, a little humor mixed in, and an element of the UFO 🛸 scene. I think you’ll like it. It’s one of my all time favorites. Richard Dreyfuss in the starring role. You won’t be sorry you watched it. 😊
Thanks for putting that on my radar
5th kind is better...
I've been binge watching your reaction videos and did not realize that you made the art in the background. Omg! They are beautiful. Just came here to say that. 😊
@@RayneWalker much love🧡 thanks. I hope you’ve been enjoying to videos
This is so much more suspense than horror.
Thanks for the recommendation
I met Mel Gibson once. I was working on a series on Rosarito with his son Chris. Mel came to visit and he brought us gifts and food!!! Great guy!!!! He bought for the entire production!!! And he went into town to party too!! Great times!
All of the little miracles/"signs" is what I love about this movie:
-The mother's visions and final words
-Bo constantly leaving glasses of water all around the house (used against the alien)
-Morgan having asthma, so when he inhaled the poison gas it didn't make it into his lungs as his airway was closed.
Thanks for sharing your point of view. And thank you so much for watching
I've watched this so many times after work, on nights with nothing to do, as a comfort movie. It's so strange how it can be that to me.
I can understand that. It's a very good Comfort movie and I found a son how someone who do we watch that over and over
Great reaction, Frank! 💕
By the way, I appreciate how introspective you are while watching these movies and how you then share your life experiences with us.
But you can be sure I had the hubs board up that coal chute!
The birthday scene absolutely traumatized me as a child😂
😆😆As it should. That was Nightmare fuel right there.. Especially with the children's screams in the background
I watched this when I was like 8 and my brother 9. The memory of him seeing that scene and just being like "nope" and just walked out the room is still funny to me
Best jumpscare in history
Something I've noticed about M Night - he always gets the performance he wants out of his actors. And the work he does with kids is A+
Abigail Breslin and whichever Culkin this is 😅 give amazing performances for as young as they are.
I loved your laugh when you saw the tin hats… both the first time and the second time.😂
That was genuine Joy right there😂😂It was extra funny because merill had made jokes about it's being a "hoax by nerds who never had girlfriends" And now look at him with a pointy ass tin foil hat lol comedy perfection
Everyone seems to forget how good M Knights "The Village" is! Id say its his 3rd best after 6th and signs.
This movie was amazing. A lot of beautiful messages around the alien stuff. I'm glad I saw this one🧡 Thank you for watching :)

"Oh SHIT THAT WAS A LEG!" Love this movie
😂😂 it wassss😂
This is one of my favorite movies, I'm so glad you reacted to it! 😁
I appreciate you. Hope you enjoyed it!😊

When you were saying its selfish for us to think we are the only ones out there, it reminded me of the movie Contact. I recommend that one if you haven't already seen it. Similar to Arrival.
Absolutely. It’s on my list.
Always loved this movie, it really keeps you on the edge of your seat, and yet it was scary without being macabre. The ending always gets me, Graham walking out of the scene in his reverend’s suit.
This and Unbreakable are tied for me as M. Night masterpieces.
I can't wait to watch the unbreakable trilogy
“You’re just rawdoggin this with no weapons” took me out 😂😂
Lmao😂😂 they just threw all caution to the wind
I've seen this one and I'm not crazy about it but I watched it again just for the Freezy algorithm.❤
And that's why you're the best🧡
I always come back to this movie. It's so smart to combine Night of the Living Dead (stranded in the house) with Hitchcockian elements (showing characters reactions first before the thing), and you throw in some family bonding. It makes it a comfort movie for me.
“I’m pretty strong, and I’m pretty fast, and I was running as fast as I could, and it’s like this guy was just toying with us” idk why I love that line
"I'm not ready " He was talking to God. He has lost his faith and has given up on God, and then realizing that God has not given up on them, or us, for that matter. First time seeing this. Loved it.
I like that
If they had some super soakers, then those Aliens would have been darting back off into space the second they broke into the house!
@@JynxedKoma water balloons would be like grenades or molotovs.
Lovely reaction, your voice is very calming. I love this film, I find it quite emotional in parts 😊
Thank you much🧡 Yes. The movie hits
When the hand comes from under the door and then the hand through the air vent. N the party scenes always got me when I first seen this
Lady in the water is one of his underrated movies. Also has M.Night. In it.
I really enjoyed your reaction and thoughts on this and will surely subscribe for more.
Those two scenes you described from this movie and the Sixth Sense are some legendary and emotional scenes. I agree with you. That is our interest in that this movie led you towards horror movies. It would have definitely done the opposite for me at that age🤣🤣
Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the video
i have just watched 4 movies with you that I have already seen. You are so calming to listen to and show your emotions with such honesty and how a real man should be able to show emotions freely. You're right about Morgan being in Home Alone. But he wasn't Kevin. He played one of Kevin's little cousins, but he and the actor who played Kevin are brothers.
That's awesome
That was Kieran, this one is Rory, he's younger, but they all look alike so much!
oh wow, nice.
I watched this when came out, but in a small theater in the far north of Germany in Kiel, where I grew up. It cost €2,50, I think the Euro had just become our new currency. And I saw it about seven times, every time I was alone. I love all the human elements and the rest, too. and the leg and the whole alien on home video, those two scenes, I consider top 25 or something jump scares ever in a bigger movie.
much love as always from Hamburg in Germany :)❤
edit: what am I talking about, I *just* moved back to my hometown, I'm finally with my love and her son after knowing her since 2007, when we were around 20...which is the best thing to happen to me, ever...cause I pretty much went through hell prior, and, bro...one reason I talk to you so much, is because there wasn't much besides watching you and others on UA-cam that kept me from 'things' you don't share on UA-cam. sorry for still oversharing there. I did, when we interacted here, always hide that and keep it on subject, still always honest...as depressed people often do.

I love this movie!!! The kids party is in my country, when I heard them speaking Portuguese I reacted just like Merrill 😮😂
Heart warming alien movies: ET, Coccon, Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind.
I’m watching Little Miss sunshine this week. I’m excited to see Bo again.

One of my all time favorite movies. Glad you liked it...!
The crazy thing is I actually believe you
Good reaction!
Yes. I love that breakdown as well. I’m with you.
When he says "I'm not ready" during the attack, he doesn't mean just not being prepared for the attack, he means he's not ready to die. It's heavily implied he's accepted that he and his family are going to die leading up to the attack. Hence their last meal.

This movie is so so so good but aliens are something that freak me out so it’s hard to watch. And it’s about the suspense of the aliens vs the aliens themselves. But how it all comes together from a storytelling perspective is perfect
One thing worth noticing is the confusion behind him calling the human doctor for the dog in the beginning (ray Reddy was the vet , it’s a blink and you miss it on the mailbox) didn’t want to call the man who hit his wife .. love that detail
This movie is all about faith though .. everything happened for a reason
Thanks for mentioning that. Important detail
