- We're half way through Ramadan and have have a nice routine going. We had iftar with the in-laws and had saltfish and banana fritters! We also sat down for a chat and reflected on some Islamic principles.

It's so nice to hear someone make dawa in a way that truly reflects the beauty of islam. I couldn't agree more with everything you said, and it was very well spoken despite the fasting so don't worry and do not hesitate to do more of these !! Thevummah needs it. The haram police are an illness to islam, undercover of "advice" which they never conduct in an islamic way regardless, they end up sending people away, I say this being a convert, I had to really disregard a lot of what some muslims were telling me in order to move forward in my path to islam and stick to its essence which is full of mercy, peace and beauty.
Just when i was thinking when will the Xs post ,i see this vlog! Love the consistency. Wonderful content as usual. Love the little lessons you give to Amaya, she a fast learner Allahumma barek. May Allah protect and guide her♥️

Salam❤. I have to say I absolutely loved this video and I can so resonate with your messaging. I am a born Muslim and I have to say I have faced more judgement and criticism from other muslims. I grew up in Trinidad and Tobago, a beautiful land of many ppl, many races and religions. We all got along so well and celebrated each other’s holidays and traditions with love and respect. It is when I moved to Canada that I really saw another side to some ppl in the Muslim community. I was raised on Quran and Quran alone. The holy Quran is perfect and it’s the only book prescribed to us. I pray that our ummah well be more loving and gentle with each other and less judgemental and cruel. I thank you for sharing your feelings and opinions with us. So much love and respect for you and your beautiful family❤❤❤❤

Salam. Can you please do a video on whether you have a halal mortgage or a conventional mortgage. Of course if you are renting then it’s different but I feel so lost in this matter as some scholars state you can have a conventional mortgage and some say you can’t at all.
Of course we can discuss this, in shaa Allah. Riba is a very complex and interesting topic and it would be good to talk through.

I had someone who waited for me say my prayers, just to tell me my prayers won't be accepted because i started my prayers with auzubillah. I told him when I get to Allah he will let me know if he rejected my prayers or not, not him 😅
