If u are going to be N/A keep the 60e and build it, 80e is mainly for 5-600 hp and up because of the longer gears. If for some reason u do go 80e on a N/A u will need some 4.56 gears and maybe even a 4K stall to get it to perform how the 60e would on 3.73 & a 3200 stall
@@ErikRose_ correct, the 80e with any shift kit will shift into the next gear faster than the 60e but the gearing in the 60e (stock for stock) will accelerate quicker than the 80e
Is it difficult to get the plastic hose off the original pump? I need to replace the OEM pump without buying a whole module. Other videos say the hose needs to be cut off. Are new plastic feed hoses available? I noticed the short black hose in the kit. 2003 1500
No it’s not difficult to just replace the pump itself. You most likely will need to cut the original hose off, I had to as well. The walbro 450 does come one but I don’t remember if it’s long enough. In one of my earlier videos I did one on a quantum 340 pump I think and it came with the hose and that one work great.
Yes I already have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and in one of my most recent videos I just added a second 450 Wabo fuel pump and did 8AN feed line. But the second pump really depends on your power goals.
I got this pump abt to put it in. Do u happen to know anybody w a 2013 w a walbro 450? They didn’t give me the relay kit with the pump so I’m wondering if it’s gonna be a plug and play with mine bc the trucks already set up for e85 from factory so I’m wondering if the stock relay will be good
No I don’t know anything with one, most walbro 450 don’t come with a relay kit you need to buy it separately or look for one that has it. It might still be a good idea to do one just because of the power they draw it would be good to use. But I’m sure theres some info out there to really know.
@@ErikRose_if it was the GM flex sensor u might need to look for the updated park number, the OG flex sensors that we used to get are discontinued as of 08/23 unless u find some new old stock laying around
Great progress on the build bro🙏🏼 super anxious to see it running on the boost setup💪🏼
Appreciate it brother, we definitely ready too ha..
Another great fire vid🔥🔥🔥 u are very inspirational bro making me want to get one just like urs.
Hell yeah make it happen brotha ! 🔥
Nice one bro keep it up and One Step Closer 💯👌
Thanks bro, we’re getting there..
@@ErikRose_ yessir 💯👌
Where did you get the fuel pump relay wire kit from?
link in the description bro !
JDT racing
I have the racetronix Hotwire kit on both my trucks🤘🏼
@@tripstomexico9770have a part number for the Hotwire kit?
Do u remember what the yellow and black wire were labeled as? Was it trigger and fuel pump

@@ErikRose_ I appreciate it bro It worked truck fires right up now 💪🏼
No problem, Glad I could help bro
@cammed_chevy9285how difficult is it to install the pump with the Hotwire kit bro ?
Do you think the 4l80 robbed a little power from the 4l60 bro? I want to put an 80e but I’m going to be N/A

Not at all bro this thing has been feeling great! I think the Transgo Hd2 shift kit is helping it alot 👌

Did you use e85 with quantum pump?
Yeah we were running e85 on the quantum pump before switching to the 450.
Any fuel starvation issues? I see most people cut the bucket to fit the pump an filter , curious to see how yours has been
Haven’t had any issues yet its been working fine 👍
What rubber sleeve did you use around the walboro?
It actually came with my quantum pump and reused it.
@@ErikRose_ did one come with the walbro
No the walbro didn’t come with one.
@@ErikRose_which pump is better quantum or warlboro
@ErikRose_ any part number for that sleeve
Did you have to upgrade anything else on the fuel system like a adjustable fpr or something or stock fuel sistem can handle the extra flow ?
Yes I already have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and in one of my most recent videos I just added a second 450 Wabo fuel pump and did 8AN feed line. But the second pump really depends on your power goals.

It’s a 2000

Did you change injectors, and what flex fuel sensor did you use ?
Bigger injectors are coming up next, I would need to double check what flex fuel sensor I used but I think it was a ACdelco sensor.

Yeah I need to double check that, but we did install it over a year ago so it very well could be. Anyways appreciate the info bro I’ll look into it.
Would this kit work on an nnbs aswell?
Yo bro what spark plugs you running ?
Platinum ACdelco bro 👌
@@ErikRose_ Appreciate it!
Lol I also never had wipers on both my trucks just rain x and then ceramic coat the windshield and ur good😂
RainX works wonders, ready no need for wipers haha.
Nice job 💯 percent
