Nice work! A month isn't a very long time to be playing guitar 😋 just focus on single notes (the main melody) and then try playing the two notes at once with an easy song. I call that technique plucking, where your thumb will play down on the bass notes at the top and your index finger will pull up on the melody notes near the bottom. For the most part 😅

Nice! Yeah you can pick up the numbers in like 5 minutes, learning the music notes takes about 5 years though 😋 playing as a beginner is still a struggle regardless.

I been trying to learn this song to play it for a good friend of mine, I have gotten pretty good at it but I have been struggling with the style of strumming used to play the high and low cords without playing the mids (if that makes sense) do you have any tips to help out a beginner?
Hey! So you mean like when you have to play the 2 notes at the same time? So you'll almost always be playing the bass notes (the note closest to the bottom of the screen when there are two above eachother) down with your thumb. The other note you'll play with your index finger mostly, try to play up through the string and slightly back towards your hand. Also make sure your finger is moving away from the strings after playing and not resting on or hitting another string on the way. Not sure if that helps, hard to explain things with text 😅
I can play the main melody without any major problems, but the low notes are a problem, I can't manage the coordination to play both at the same time, my fingers simply say "no, you won't"
