For friend, حبيب is not the word for friend except in intimate and close relationships. It means, my love, my beloved, my darling, etc.
صاحب، رفيق، صديق mean a friend

This course is helpful ! But ... don't use the same vocabulary like all the other ones ( to write, Pencil, etc. ) . Another vocabulary in your system is required. Your System is very interesting !!!

i think simple verbs are better because here we are not learning the vocabulary but the grammar instead, and simple verbs make it easier to grasp
