Whinlatter is one of my local parkruns and I've run it multiple times. When asked what it's like I always say; you probably won't get a good time, but you'll definitely have a good time!
Definitely right that it's a bucket list run, or for me at least. I just need my Saturdays to be about 3 hours longer to give me the time to go across and do it! Will have to make a weekend of it one day, but Keswick or Whinlatter, which to pick?! For 2 parkruns so close together those two couldn't be more different could they. Another lovely video, thanks for sharing.
Honestly it’s stunning. We were so lucky with conditions on this day too. It is annoying how far away some of these lovely Parkruns are haha. Always good to make a weekend out of it! Keswick is great for a quick time, I rated Whinlatter more highly purely as the views were brilliant! May as well go and do both 😂
@@EndorphinEmpire I'll be getting back into trails and hill running after Great North Run, for now it's safe and steady (and flat-ish) road runs only. But Chopwell, Richmond 10k, Whinlatter, Hamsterley 10k and Flatts Lane are all lined up for after GNR... bring on the elevation! 😆😬😭
Love the video, must go back.
It's stunning, right? Surely one of the best!

I think that's a great quote I'll have to use if future. By far one of the best locations, can't always be hitting PBs week in and week out
