I drove from Sarasota to Miami in 1987. My friend and I stayed in Little Havana at a very cheap motel $24 dollars a night. On our last night there someone tried to break into our room in the middle of the night. Very creepy The chain on the door was rattling as the door was being kicked in. My friend and I began to yell and they ran away. We immediately left after that. Not going back
If you are from up north I would suggest fort lauderdale, not so crowded you may have more chances to find cheaper rent.. kids born in miami are moving there a lot.
Oh yeah In Miami, coral gables, brikell, the roads, midtown, key biscayne, north beach, south beach( way too crowded noisy and expensive) all those areas are a little too expensive for blue collar workers though.. Thats way I recommend moving north of Miami, besides people from other states find living in miami a little chaotic, due to many issues, specially language 😀
I grew up attending a church in number 9 called West Flagler Baptist Church. That area has old, small houses. Some interesting apartment buildings. Spanish-only stores and businesses. A funky mall. It’s really an area known as Little Havana. It’s a different world compared to the rest of the United States.
Hey Briggs, I love your videos but this time I have to disagree in # 10 and # 9. Coral Way and Flagler are streets not neighborhoods, both goes from East to West in Miami. Flagler split Southwest from Northwest. Flagler begins in Little Havana and ends in Sweet Waters. Coral Way begins in Coral Gables and ends in Kendall. Keep the videos coming. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
According to the cities planning dept, they are. but I know most people don't know that because it is never called that. Like I had said when people are thinking about relocating they will need that info.

@@giniolamy What is the difference between Miami and Dade?
@@Deltagirl74 Miami is the incorporated City limits Dade county is another jurisdiction you never see Miami police in opa locka or Miami gardens or north Miami Florida city Homestead kendall Why that's outside the city limits Don't ask me what the difference is ask the white man who made his boundaries I'm telling what it is
@@giniolamy Well I live in Clearwater and I've heard people correct others and say no I'm not from Miami I'm from Dade Co and there's a difference and they are serious about it. Being that I'm originally from VA I never there was a difference. Thanks for responding.
@@Deltagirl74 Theirs really No Difference Miami is in Dade county
Did your wife leave you for a Haitian?
😂😂😂
worst neighbourhoods in Albuquerque, Go!
Some outside suburbs like opa locka & Miami gardens
Coconut grove as one of the worst neighborhoods…. What is this guy smoking. I’m from Miami and the grove is gorgeous
Wynnwood has gotten a lot better, it's extremely gentrified, there are some amazing new developments. I live in Edgewater, have walked to Wynnwood, no problems.
Coral way is literally a street that’s miles long. I’m sure you were referring to Coral Gables.
Not going back
I would never stay in a roach motel. If I can’t afford a decent hotel I don’t travel
what are your thoughts on Miami beach I was thinking about moving there or maybe ft Lauderdale? what are the pros and cons of each?
If you are from up north I would suggest fort lauderdale, not so crowded you may have more chances to find cheaper rent.. kids born in miami are moving there a lot.
@@jorgeamador2652 I wanna checkout Deerfield's beach too
Oh yeah that’s pretty neat up there
@@jorgeamador2652 thanks any good areas you could recommend
Oh yeah
In Miami, coral gables, brikell, the roads, midtown, key biscayne, north beach, south beach( way too crowded noisy and expensive)
all those areas are a little too expensive for blue collar workers though..
Thats way I recommend moving north of Miami, besides people from other states find living in miami a little chaotic, due to many issues, specially language 😀
Liberty City should have been on this list.
Model city= liberty City.same thing
I grew up attending a church in number 9 called West Flagler Baptist Church. That area has old, small houses. Some interesting apartment buildings. Spanish-only stores and businesses. A funky mall. It’s really an area known as Little Havana. It’s a different world compared to the rest of the United States.
I’d love to see you do a video on Sydney Australia!! Both good and bad!! I love your videos and watch almost every day!!
If you looking for a beating .go to Over town Ha love it
Pork n beans
"FREEEEEE BEATIIIIIINNNNSSS!!!"
But Wenwood has great art scene.
You could be right about Flagler, but Coral Gables is definitely not called Coral Way
Hey Briggs, I love your videos but this time I have to disagree in # 10 and # 9.
Correction, you need an income around 90 to live in coral gables if you compare your rental ( because it will be a rental) to other rentals around. Buy a home there and you’re looking at needing a salary of 200k
Common denominator? My god why would anyone move to South Florida?
So interesting to learn about my hometown.
A lot of Grovers lived in OverTown as well.
Way too hot over there, constant 90+ in summer. Rains all the time too
Briggs u have to do Miami Dade county so u can include places like perrine Florida city opalocka ect..
Richmond heights Gould’s Leisure city homestead some of South Miami heights
I know you like rural Pennsylvania. You should visit Mifflinburg. It is my hometown. It has a car dealership, a bank, a museum, and much more. Plus one of the top rated bridges, the Hassenplug.
Goulds.. Naranja.. Homestead.. Hialeah.. Carol City.. And of course Liberty City.. How did these not make the list???
