Почитала ваши комментарии. Согласна насчет ИСЛ, но вообще ни разу не согласна насчет Шанель. Ничего там не умерло - минимализм, стиль, все, как любила Габриэль. Элегантная, милая простота. Все-таки мужчины редко когда умеют одевать женщин и разбираться в моде) Раздевать у вас больше получается)
Once again an outstanding collection truly of maison YSL. All the women embellished, in rich silks, black French Tulle, soft buttery blouson jackets in cacao, black, linen/cashmere long dresses with a head covering like Ms. Grace Jones the singer. Just do not do so much black like everybody else on the block. It is overkill. Excellent golden bold jewelry, the high sling back shoes very classic, and elegant makes all the women long and lean. Also great backdrop the Eiffel Tower at nigh and the promenade with a huge lid fountain of water. There is beauty and glamour and femininity everywhere excellent signore Anthony Vaccarello.
Real clothes, wearability, subtly progressive, quiet hommage and quality/craftmanship is obvious even watching online. No celebrity bullshitting like " I adore his vision, blah blah to over-cooked concepts ", or boring designers sticking to Moodboards, and telling it like a term paper. AV is not upstaging himself to the house, just doing his job perfectly. That is a real vibe, and also the result is.

The opening wasn't strong but my that yellow long dress with the veil / hoodie paired with a burgundy / brown leather jacket was just stunning!
The long wool coats are a beautiful throwback to the master. Some of the dresses seem to cross into Alaia territory.
Definitely the Grace Jones/May Day character, whose clothes were designed by Azzedine Alaia, from the Bond movie "A View To A Kill" haunts this show.

I love YSL, but the shows are like watching starving giraffes in 10 inch inch stilettos heading to the slaughterhouse. Pure torture to watch. Very sad. Setting , on the other, is fantastic.

@@guerlain859 задача модного дома, чтоб одежда на моделях хорошо смотрелась. Поэтому такие стандарты фигуры. Причем должны быть у всех моделей. Если одна модель не сможет выйти, её могли заменить на другую. Вся коллекция шьется одинакового размера. Век том моделей прошли, надо чтоб покупатели смотрели на одежду, а не на моделей.
Данная коллекция показывает закат западной культуры и влияние, а точнее наступление ислама. Поэтому модели покрыты головой, платья макси. Есть образы где голые плечи, или немного прозрачные платья это остатки былой западной ушедшей культуры.
В этом бизнесе ничего случайного нет.
