OrcaSlicer device connection to OctoPrint

Easily Connect Orca Slicer and Octoprint to view OctoPrint within ORCA and send files to printer. I was having a connection issue that I go over in the video and where to create API key and dark mode.

Still having connection issues? - If you have a mesh Wi-Fi network: either turn off the mesh points and only run with one or restart Wi-Fi

You're welcome I'm loving Orca with OctoPrint. I also found out I was having an issue with the IP due to having a mesh network. Resetting the router different l fixed that issue

I assume you are using klipper not Marlin. If using Marlin how did you get it to pull in? The port shouldn’t matter, just the api key was the issue.

I'm running Marlin. I also thought the port didn't matter.. I'm not sure why but it wouldn't connect without the additional :5000. Maybe it had something to do with my Google router? What do you mean by pull in? I'm not that familiar with routers and home networks and just played with it till it worked. I'm using a much to fancy Samsung tablet to connect to Orca cause I couldn't get the charging to work on my Nexus tablet.

I was able to connect with a browser prior to using it with Orca Slicer. I just typed the IP address into the browser. I'm kind of new to making videos I should have showed the prices using the browser and clicked generate for the API key

Bro here! I heard I'm supposed to hide my voice from scammers and I have almost no experience with IP address "architecture" so being super careful, also my girlfriend would burn the printer to the ground if she knew how to access it 😉😂
