I feel like im there again ... I owe ya brother ,.. you have no idea ... 💙🤙😊🐟

    I’m looking into getting the tsunami airwave elite but not to sure on which one yet. You have the VS150 on a 8.8 MH, I have a VSX200 and was thinking a 10’ MH or M? Or 9’ MH or M

    Rich just picked up 3 packs of your Fin Back Shads and jig heads to match. They are great and I have one question. Should I keep them in the original package or can I keep them in my plastic tackle box? Don't want to mess them up.

    Hey Rich I have a question about targeting the white water....when there are multiple rolling waves ( rollers ) ...do you focus on putting your lure in the farthest wave out or closest? ( hope this makes sense lol )

      Very good question usually I try to aim behind the furthest wave in the set. I consider Stripers to be like surfers they will surf the wave in then once it breaks they turn back around and search the white water for disoriented baitfish an if your lure is there BAM you get bit!

    Question for you. It looks like you’re keeping your rod tip high and jigging down. Or are you jigging up? It could just be the camera angle.

    Fishaholic I’m camping at shagwong point in Montauk this weekend what lures do u recommend for night fishing of the surf

  • @ztan07
    @ztan07 4 роки тому

    Hi FishAholic, Just an advise, if you are Cranking with your right hand, then you really have to learn how to cast with your left hand. I was doing the exactly same way like you are doing right now, and I found there are increased chances of massed up lines and stunk lures while I switching hands. Those bailless line rollers are designed for the cast hands, any time you spend on switching handgs can cost you lures and fishes. I have learned to used my left hand to cast, it's much easier than learning to crank with my left.

    Hey man how often do you get hung up out there with those rocks?

    • @FishAholicTV
      @FishAholicTV  4 роки тому +2

      It can happen often but usually theres a technique that you can stick your rod up in the air and pop it free. There's a lot of weeds on most of the rocks so if you pull straight back it'll just burry the hook into the rock. Or also I'll walk down the beach and pull it from another angle and it comes out.

    did I hear you say that the people who go on your charter boat during the day catch fish in the 25" class
    that is really sad,, they don't even get a keeper fish for all that money

    • @FishAholicTV
      @FishAholicTV  4 роки тому

      No you didn’t hear me right. When I’m not working on the boat I do Surf Cast Guiding. The Month of August from the Surf has been plagued with average 25” fish during most bites with occasional bigger fish at night.
