John’s solo gives me chills. Not that it’s his greatest solo, but because it’s been 16 years since I last heard him rip one off during a RHCP song. Nobody can replace what John Brings
Me too. I got ultimate goosebumps from that.
Likewise and Frusciante's backing vocals during the chorus is sublime.
What crayon we gonna use to color this song?
Pass me the Frusciante.
Very true.. and that backing vocals of John what makes their songs sounds perfect in my ears..
When the camera first pans up to him when the guitar overdub comes in, I got chills. It's not felt real that he's rejoined, and it just made it real.
The new album is a group of songs depicting the group as a whole and as individuals. Flea is Australian and this song is written about the 2019-20 fires.
Rhcp has two kind of songs, fun ones with no meaning, and the ones with a deep and disturbing meaning
True and that's what makes them different 😃❤
Which one does this included to?
@@fairfight9857 both
This song is about Anthony's father who passed away a year ago
I think it means different things to each person. The whole first part of the songs reminds me of last year when I lived in Nevada and all the fires, “the night was dressed like noon”. For it surely was.
No reason to dislike this stellar song, they have never disappointed me be it from the 80s or 90s times or even now, change is always welcome for me ❤❤❤😍
DURKE side of the moon
THANK GOD SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED
I love this song! ❤️
It's cool!!
Australian 2019-20 fires have been dubbed "Black Summer" and Flea is from Australia.
Anthony sounds better than ever 😍❤❤
beside the great track its crazy that kiedis turns 60 this year and still looks fresh af ^^
He'd look better without the moustache..lol Im hoping he cuts it soon!!
@@endoffate5475 Same 😂
China actually put a probe on the dark side of the moon, a huge achievement
true, and then literally teleported a photon into it, through the moon, which even more impressive
@@pureskill898 i dont even understand what that means or what significance it holds. but nice
Rain also mean 'blessing'.. pretty sure this song was created for covid time.. we can't meet people.. we are 'sailor' in this voyage world.. black summer sure told about season by season we isolated..
UK Reactor I immediately wondered if you had a nuclear reactor
How do you know that I haven't? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@infin8reactions It's will be detailed If I tell story not telling btw, I can smell how much you like about theme nuclear area. You're addicted to it isn't?
I had the same exact interpretation as you 100% until somebody said it could be about the Australian bush fires. I think it could be about either.
Cheers mate, it certainly pointed in that direction for me, but it's good to hear other people's opinions 😁
I think its about a changing world and in a way thats foreign to Kiedis personally. Climate changes in particular, the fires in California and isolations because of the pandemic.
I also reckon its about his dad dying too
I was wondering if it referenced the Australian bushfires of 2019-2020 which are know as black summer.
Yo man this shit is loaded with occult if symbols and lyrics
Chris Moyles pointed out this morning that a few of the opening vocals are a bit funny sounding but definitely a solid comeback 👌 easily fit onto Californacation
its a song that could easily fit onto any RHCP album featuring John really, hes clearly their best member in terms of talent (it being John > Flea > Chad > Anthony)
The China part is written cause China has a river on the Dark side of the Moon
John Frusciante influence ✌️
China litterly flew a drone and landed on the dark side of moon, that's a fact not that the lyricks mean that though haha
Haha I didn't know that and a few people have told me now 🤣🤣 thanks 😁
Good pickup. I only just posted this in Music-Discussion 1 hour ago.
🤣🤣 Eskimo Callboy came to me as well, when I saw the mustache on Anthony Keidis 🤣🤣
Anthony!! That's his name!! Looks like he should be in a dirtee movie with that tash 😂😂😂😂
@@infin8reactions 🤣🤣🤣 Definitely an adult movie tash 🤣🤣🤣
I was thinking Tiger King Joe lol
@@DaP84 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Here’s my 2 cents on RHCP lyrics. Their lyrics are like life itself. Do things happen for a reason like people say? Or is life just random and we as humans read into things? Same with the RHCP lyrics. Maybe they mean something maybe not…..
Got the same idea on the meaning as well. Covid and restrictions, can't wait for all these to end.
I think it’s actually a reference to the California wild fires that have plagued the region the last few summers.
These people are great. The dialogue between the instruments is not wasted. Frusciante is an indisputable genius... Definitely, it is expected... something well done and with depth. Everything revolutionizes and they are not the same as they were 20 years ago... You cannot expect them to do something like what was done before, it is illogical by the nature of life. If not, someone try to wear his clothes from when he was 6 years old again... Let's see if it fits him or is of any use to him...🇻🇪 Greetings from Caracas Venezuela 👏🇻🇪
Even though this ias true, the song writing in this one is mediocre and feels uninspired for classic RHCP
Amen. You asked for suggestions as to where to go next as far as Red Hot Chili Peppers as, "I have not fully gone down the rabbit hole..." My answer to yourself, as Red Hot Chili Peppers being my favorite band, listen to Red Hot Chili Peppers' new, up and coming album. Also try to react to another single off Red Hot Chili Peppers' new, up and coming album too.🙂 That's the best advice I may give yourself about this. Also your off handed Columbine slur says more about yourself than Mr. Anthony Kiedis, his name is, or any of Red Hot Chili Peppers also. Insulting to even make such an insinuation, honestly. Smh.
I never mentioned anything about columbine? What are you on about?
Psh. Watch your own reaction video, matey.
2:45.
I must be hearing things.
@@zachbrownsbandlabel2492 at 2.45 I mentioned Eskimo Callboy? It's a German band.
Is he referring to the wild fires? That delayed their album? Not sure exactly the meaning but that’s what I interpreted at first
Hi there! where in the uk are u from? Used to live in Manchester and it’s sound northern. Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪 friends of PIA PIA PIA 😊
Hey any friend of pia is a friend of mine lol, yeah about 20 miles outside of Manchester I live, good ear!
China put a robot on the dark side of the moon. You're reviewing a song and you don't know the singer ?
I know very little about the chilli's, I've never sat there and listened to them or ever researched them, p.s I do a hell of a lot of reaction videos so forgetting somebody's name happens often lol
☕☕👍🇮🇩
Come on "sailing on censorship." With all the talk of what is or isn't misinformation and what needs to be censored.
I lost interest in RHCP after Californication. For me this song is no better than all the other lack lustre stuff they've put out since , I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that will like it though! If you are going down the RHCP rabbit hole, the song that got me into them many years ago was their cover of Stevie Wonder's Higher Ground, also check out Knock me down and Taste the pain all from their Mother's Milk album. Suck my kiss, Give it Away and Under the Bridge (probably one of their biggest songs) from their Blood Sugar Sex Magik album .
I love RHCP, including their recent work, but I agree this song is kind of... meh.
This album will have style of songs from any rhcp era, so we are waiting for the other songs. This is definitely from mid 00s era.
These days I find Kiedis just pollutes the music. And the shirts off and acting like 20 year olds is getting kind of lame. John’s guitar work is sublime though. And at this stage, it’s the only reason I’m interested to be honest. Pretty inoffensive and radio friendly. Will easily slot in to those FM radio playlists.
he can still pull it off since he's in shape.
I've always admired the RHCP for keeping their energy alive unlike most bands who become boring with zero stage presence as they age.
@@rockboy360 I just find it all feigned. But anyway, your opinion is valid and Fairenough.
Ohhh no, stopped the video when he didn’t even know the lead singers name. Bad review right off the bat even if he gave them a good one.
FORGOT the singers name, do you know how many reaction videos I do?
I have 2000 videos on my channel and probably 500 recorded on my hard drive.
I'm still new to the RHCP. And have only done 3 reactions to them
Being offended/triggered by trivial things like forgetting a name is what's wrong with today's society.
Pull ya head outta your butt!
Oh and it's a REACTION not a review, a review is when you already know the song.
