Don't understand why some routes run a mix of standard and articulated busses. Mostly but not always articulated on 40 and 60. Sometimes on the 1W and 5. Occasionally on the 6. Can't they standardize it?
The routes they use XDE60s on are higher ridership routes so they help ease congestion. I would like to see more articulated buses ordered. Having every trip use an articulated bus limits flexibility.
the reason why they don’t drive overnight because I think westchester is a calming place but the MTA does it overnight bc they have more people than the westcheter county
@@Logical_trav01 That's true, Westchester is only a million people, not 8 million like NYC. But some Long Island and NJ Transit buses run overnight. Even the lines that go from Bronx subway stations into Yonkers and Mt. Vernon stop running around 11 p.m.
Another thing is Bus Service on WestChester County need to be change.They can’t have Buses run 30 Minutes during rush hour.Also It needs to run overnight 1am Since People getting out Sporting events.Bus Service needs to fix now

I used to drive Orion Vs for GO Transit in Toronto. They were retired WAY too early (5 - 7 years old).
They were beautiful buses.

Why Westchester Buses don’t run overnight
