the last part of your fine video shows switching at the what I presume is the south end of the yard. Is it a good place to park? It looks like they improved the view by removing the trees. Google maps shows much foliage there. Is there a better place to view the north end other than the route one bridge? Thanks for putting up with the rain and posting this! Really nice video. This was equipment from 44th Infantry Brigade Combat Team of New Jersey Army National Guard heading to Joint Readiness Training Center (Training) Rotation 23-08 @ Fort Polk, LA. According to videos & NJ ANG they loaded 800 vehicles up @ Morrisville Yard in PA, then headed North thru Metro NYC and then across the to Buffalo and down to Erie, PA and beyond.

Nice catch... I've been getting into the Housatonic the last year or so. Great little RR. My oldest son just hired on (back in December) as the conductor/switchman on NX13 (they run from Canaan to Pittsfield), which runs on Sunday afternoon/evening and evenings Mon-Thurs. He loves working for them, after two years on the Union Pacific out in Oregon.
