  • This walk was recorded in November 2019. Eyrarbakki is a small village in South Iceland. Once it was the trading center for the southern region but now it is a shadow of what it once was, beautiful but ghostly. Thank you for watching. @@IcelandHotSpots it's like a heaven - do you guys even need to go to picnics?

      Haha yes of course. My favourite picnic was way in the middle of nowhere in North Iceland with my wife and kids, surrounded by nothing but lava. Like a picnic on the moon.

    • @IcelandHotSpots
      @IcelandHotSpots  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Hank I use a gopro hero 7 mounted on a zhiyun gimbal. The audio is just the basic gopro microphone, I might do an upgrade on that later.

      @@IcelandHotSpots Why use a gimbal if it has hypersmooth?

    • @IcelandHotSpots
      @IcelandHotSpots  4 роки тому

      @@AshwinRamdin The gopro has hypersmooth which offers good stabilisation but it isn't perfect. The gimbal provies further stabilisation reducing my up/down tilt and makes right/left panning smoother.

      An excellent idea Ewan but I squint a lot while filming and it might scare the children.
