Haha yes of course. My favourite picnic was way in the middle of nowhere in North Iceland with my wife and kids, surrounded by nothing but lava. Like a picnic on the moon.
Tákk fyrir for be our legs in this quiet morning of end of Winter across Eyrarbakki. To walk help us to find ourselves. See you in next walk round in Iceland! Bless! ;o)
You just can tell that its a remote place, the landscape reminds me of towns in chilean patagonia. I hope some day i can visit your beautiful country. Cheers from the southern tip of the world!
Apart from couple of main cities, most towns in Iceland are quite remote. That's what most people go there for: to see the amazing landscape and feel peace.
Amo Islandia....y me Nitro con el trabajo de este amigo que nos muestra en detalle estos lugares de una isla ecológicamente nueva. Graciasss...yo estoy al otro lado del mundo...en Chile.
@@AshwinRamdin The gopro has hypersmooth which offers good stabilisation but it isn't perfect. The gimbal provies further stabilisation reducing my up/down tilt and makes right/left panning smoother.

I have never been there, but, maybe, this is one of my favourite places in Iceland
It's a very interesting town. It used to be the trading centre for the whole southern region of Iceland.
@@IcelandHotSpots yeah, it seems interesting. How long is it from Reykjavik to?
Only about 1 hour so not very far.

What kind of set up are you using to record your audio and video? Thanks
Hi Hank I use a gopro hero 7 mounted on a zhiyun gimbal. The audio is just the basic gopro microphone, I might do an upgrade on that later.
@@IcelandHotSpots Thanks for the info Iceland. Keep on making the good videos. Respects to you~~~
@@IcelandHotSpots Why use a gimbal if it has hypersmooth?
@@AshwinRamdin The gopro has hypersmooth which offers good stabilisation but it isn't perfect. The gimbal provies further stabilisation reducing my up/down tilt and makes right/left panning smoother.
Best country in the world =)
Facts
Hhaahahahahah You wouldn’t be saying that if you lived here

Some of the old houses have chimneys.Do they heat with oil or coal?
Or electric?
It's mostly geothermal these days.
When were all the trees planted??
I was there from 1981-83 and there were only a handful in downtown Reykjavik.
I used to live on Keflavik NAS and the only trees I saw were mini evergreens, no more than four or five feet tall.
Great Job, What camera you used ? Thank you
Thank you I used a gopro hero 7
