kinda hard to compare sounds when you talk so long between pedals

in my (extremely limited) experience with compressors, where they really shine and you can really hear them work is when you play any kind of fingerstyle run. I have to admit I do love a good compressor.

I just lost 15lbs on John Roses solid food vacation , juicing only , was a wonderful experience. Great explanation of pedals thanks , hope you try juicing .

Seth I love your videos! So few people want to say what they like since most are too worried to offend. You lay it out for us viewers. I find what you say to be honest and trustworthy. Keep up the great work!!!!

I like the sound of the SP but, from what I am seeing , is it NOT AC powered ?, 9V battery is not conducive to a board , Does SP make an AC powered version ? In some of the compressor videos I have watched the SP sounded the best ,but the turnoff is the 9V power .

I did notice a lot of noise as soon as the exotic was turned on

Nice shootout. I'm still trying to decide if I need a compressor or not. I do like the MXR, mainly because it was the simplest of the 3. I liked that it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles.

I love how you played it clean before hitting every pedal to give us a point of reference. Great review and comparison!

Love the review man. Too often reviews are focused on way too much detail of components in a pedal when I just want to learn what it does differently and how that’s going to effect my music. A+!!!

Nice demo video. But you didn't mention that the Xotic SP has some more setting options inside. These are definitely worth exploring, and you should take your time to set these tiny DIP switches according to your preferences.
