they sometimes get left out of introductory courses and are seriously underrated
As a desert dweller, I love seeing the prickly pear as the representative of cacti. It's far and away the most beautiful cactus, despite how iconic the saguaro is.
Great stuff! Horticulture and biology is amazing and inspirational! It's a beautiful universe! 💪 🧠 🐬
05:04 this was cute😂
Does negative pressure from the heat of the sun hitting the leaves and evaporating water help drag water from the ground up?
Arguably the best theme song ever
Today I learned that strawberries can spread like wisteria can... fascinating!!
Another great episode.
Need more Hardcore plant action
Ah yes, my favorite topic to info dump, now animated
LOVE YALL VIDS MAN GREAT WORK SPECIALY HISTORY
Learned way more than I expected ty cc
~2:14 Supposedly redwoods have leaves that absorb water in addition to those that photosynthesize? Most live in fog belts so absorbing water at the top makes more sense than getting 100% of the water from the roots all they way down there. The leaf type is called the axial leaf. I think the study to find this out was done with UC Davis students in 2022.
I enjoy a lot, please more
Just Thanks you, Thanks you so Much for giving your sources with so Much precision, thanks ❤❤❤
Plants are nearly the only source of food. Taking a detour through an animal of fungus doesn't change that fact. ;)
Sooo interesting, thank you
Awesome thx!
Who else saw that 'Hardcore Gardening' Spotify playlist ad days ago?
