Aarekk I would love to support you guys on your own website, it's just that the player does not suit my personal needs. UA-cam has improved its own so much over the last few years that it's hard for me to use anything else. I do however watch all of our RWBY episodes on the website the day they come out. And then buy the Bluray.

But the main rt stuff I enjoy are the podcasts and animated adventures which are also podcast stuff. So the live podcast is all I would really use a sponsorship for.

The reason I watch RT content on UA-cam is because my computer has a serious issue with the RT website for some reason BUT I'm able to watch RT content on the RT website on our computer at work (the perks of being assistant manager). So I'm still a sponsor, I watch sponsor-only content at work and they watch everything else on my home computer when it becomes available on UA-cam.

On behalf of those of us who maybe can't afford to pay for sponsorship or can't justify the expense or whatever it may be for the rest of us, thank you for the schedueling changes, and for shortening time between recording and publicly uploading videos. Regardless of the time between recording and me getting to it, I personally have loved the podcast since the first one I sat down to watch on youtube, and this is my preferred way to watch it. Sometimes though I did find myself catching the "recorded on" date or hearing something that was discussed on the podcast and thinking to myself "Wow, this is getting to the point that it's stale/losing relevance". Just with how frequently pop culture or specific news stories are brought up and discussed on the podcast, there is, from time to time, a window that closes before the podcast can make it to the general public on those topics. Now, with the new scheduling and the way that the uploads are significantly closer to the recordings, that can be cut down on immensely and I, as well as many others I'm sure, appreciate that in ways that we cannot even begin to show. I really like that they have shortened the gap of the podcast recording to the youtube upload, I felt like I was already out of the jokes/news by the time the podcast came out the following wednesday

It's funny that Burnie mentioned the housing and "American Dream" correlation. I did a report on that for college last year. It's absolutely an American thing. People are pushed to move out around 19-21 and it's all because they wanted to grow suburbs. They started posting billboards of young families with two-four kids. This would make more and more people buy homes. If you have two kids at 24-25, you'll be 50 when they'll be buying a house. So in just 25 years, the number of homes owned would be doubled-quadrupled. The government created the housing market to basically save the economy, and it was very important around the '30's with the Great Depression. That's why in '40's pop culture, you see so many images of the classic family - like we see in things such as Fallout. Many other cultures have 3 generations living in a single house, but we have 3 generations living in separate homes, and sometimes even 4. It's crazy how the government basically made a market by making it a social norm to move out at a young age (something that is now very difficult to do).
Gavin should have started humming the Doctor Who theme on that flight with Christopher Eccleston and seen if he noticed... Such a wasted opportunity Gavin :P

as someone who travels for work it is not "traveling" you see an airport, a hotel, the work site (convention centers for them) and then the hotel and air port. you don't get much time to site see or enjoy the area. All you want to do is finish up and get home.

Michael is my hero. At school one year I had a thing where I would always pick up any pen or pencil when I saw one abandoned, and ended up with a solid 85 pens and pencils (+ one marker) in one pocket until I had to take them out and start over. Ended up with over 120 by the end of the year. Big pocked brigade! Whoo whoo!
