Does anyone ever half wake up in the morning, like you're half awake but you're still dreaming. The dream comes in to focus, you're more aware of it, but you still haven't completely realised you're dreaming. Your eyes are closed, but you're conscious.
There always seems to be a point where I've realised I've got my eyes closed, and I try to open them, but it's a struggle because I'm still dreaming and my eyes have got to be closed to stay dreaming, but I don't realise it, so when I finally open my eyes the dream has ended and it is always let unfinished.

Katie Wood If it were a Lucid dream, you would have a GREAT grip on your conscious mind and would be able to control everything you do like in reality. Like... move like a normal person and, not like someone with Parkinson's.

This is one of my favourite videos PJ's done, it really sparks something in the back of the mind about dreams. Plus the video itself looks like it could be extended into a longer film. I'd love to see more of this, it was a beautiful little short.

Apparently most people can't lucid dream but I do it all the time.

I won't have control like I'll try to but my dream body won't walk, run, or fly in a direction I want it to.
like PJ showed in the video if its a nightmare its really scary.
but I love dreaming because for a short time I be be where ever or whoever I want and it gives me writing ideas.
but that's just my experience and opinions about dreams.
mabey I'll write a dream log cause sometimes they inspire stories but I'll forget when I go to write it.

Does anyone else have dreams that have a deep meaning? Like and also i am very good at interpreting certain dreams to the point its scary. And also like i have dreams like my house is on fire and i have to pull my dad out and stuff like that. Their always deep and i wake up crying. Its like all the stress of keeping my family together is showing up in my dreams now. 0.0
my dreams are just one big mess, at one point I'm petting a random cat and at another point my dog is drowing and I wake up crying my eyes out.
One time, I had a dream that had big snakes and my family used to say that snakes in dreams mean something bad. The day after, my family got into a big fight and since then, I've been trying to look for any meaning in my dreams.

This is my favorite pj film, so mysterious and gorgeous with the lighting and storytelling. I like how it can be intense yet relaxing, especially with the music. It's really beautiful.
A friend from college, who I introduced to PJ, would always say that the interaction between him and Tim in this reminded her of a very young Sherlock and Moriarty. Can't say that I blame her. 🕵

Uni starts tomorrow, my holidays are over, I have less than 5 hours to sleep and once again here I am having a PJ marathon. I never regret :)
How do you know when you're dreaming or awake?
What is the real difference, or how do you detect the difference?
In either realm we live in fear of consequence and other individuals actions. We aren't really living if we are in fear.
So we must in turn let go of all of the worries.
the physical form is nothing to concern for it is a meat vessel of the mind. If reincarnation or the afterlife or heaven and hell are actually true philosophies then why fret? Why concern ourselves with what could happen when we have our believes of what will happen?
My point being, don't hold back.
Keep living life on the precipice of death in order to get the most fulfillment.
If you're dreaming you'll be fine.
If you're awake you'll be fine.
You are fine.
Get the most out of what you can.
Why worry so much about what pain could occur? Honestly, pain is beautiful for it is one of the strongest emotional phenomena for humans. It is a learning experience and we should see it as such.
Life is for learning. Life is for living and lately humanity has done a shitty ass job at doing so. We walk by one another on auto pilot not really understanding what it is to be human what it is to live.
I'm not even sure I understand, but, after seeing what little life I have seen, why prevent myself or anyone else from tasting it?
Life is full of these spectacular moments and the unspectacular moments in between. We, as of recent, have been interpreting life as mostly the later. Assuming day to day agenda is mundane, dull.
However who ever said that there were specific amounts of these moments for anyone?
That's what I'm saying.
I feel like I'm just running in circles with this but what I'm saying is the physical form is petty and meek and we should stop trying to preserve it because even though that preservation may save us in some forms it kills us in others such as inexperience.
So in order to get the most out of life we must be awake in reality and the dream state. To live it all, listen to others stories and creating your own. Live in preservation and in experience in moderation but above all to live.

I come back here because I'm stuck here, in times like these. This comment will rot in nowhere land, but we are creatives caught in our dreams. I'm just the girl who never grew up. Never got married, never spread her legs, still tries to write my dreams and still has string lights in her room. Feels like the world keeps moving and changing and fighting and I'm standing still. I love these videos because at least theres one place I can go when the world gets to be too much

Just imagine PJ whispering in your ear telling you tales of old and new, whispering into eternity, a story traveling through time. bliss only bliss it's you peej with all of his characters planet Kid and the desolate goblins you are a tiny planet Explorer in the universe just imagine fantastical being training shaping the way that you see everything you and PJ floating up space you can see everything and it can see you traveling in your space machine it's all about stories fly away.

I don't know why, but I always have at least twenty minutes in the last part of my dreams that I wake up slightly, but I'm still in my dream. I know that I have the power to open my eyes and wake up fully, but I don't. I just keep them closed as long as possible until they involuntarily open. In those twenty minutes or so, I just kinda walk around, see if I am dreaming. I control my dreams for that period of time, and I can remember them, too.

Zelda Nixon They are, I know that I can just do it naturally, but there are some cool ways to try and do it, if you don't already. I've also tested some of these out, and they make mine more realistic and less hazy!

I always used to have a dream in which I was running away from something (I never knew what) but I could never go fast enough it was like I was stuck in slow motion and my legs wouldn't work and it was actually kinda scary
Same! I could never see what it was that I was trying to get away from but for some reason I was running but my feet weren't properly touching the ground so I couldn't get anywhere!
