Lyrics: When I was a young boy, my mama said "Son, if you don't stop making trouble, then they'll put you on the run, boy. So you better do it right, you better have a reason, or you'll have to live to fight! Do you wanna make it right?" When I was a young man, I couldn't get enough. And then I met you, baby, but maybe I was too rough. Do you wanna do it right? Would you like it to be real? Would you care to spend the night? Make it right, make it right, make it- I didn't know how to react! I hit them hard, they hit me back! You came along without a fight! I did it and it lasted through all night! I'm old and now I'm wiser, and ready to succeed. I go where I'm not wanted, and I take just what I need, yeah. So I wanna do it right, and I'd like it to be real! If I have to then I'll fight! Make it right, make it right, make it-
Hey it’s you again!! Noticed a couple small errors mainly in the last section; I'm older now, and wiser, and ready to succeed. Not go where I'm not wanted, and I take just what I need, yeah. 'Cause I wanna do it right, and I'd like you to be real! If I have to then I'll fight! Make it right, make it right, make it- God I wish this was released so we could have fully deciphered lyrics
@@opoct0bah I don't fully hear your interpretation, but because this is an art of approximation it's natural for that kind of thing to happen. For instance, I don't hear a "kuh" sound at the start of "'Cause I wanna do it right," though I do think you're right that Danny is using the first person. I can also hear the first line in both interpretations but I think "old" works better as a continuation of the previous "young man" and "young boy." there are alot of considerations that you have to make, so I find it difficult to back the idea of an objectively right interpretation. still, thanks for the suggestions!
@@opoct0bah yeah!! thanks for caring about the correctness about lyrics. i'm a singer myself so having lyrics that make sense and also line up with the syllables are really important (and also bc barely archived demos from the 1970s moment)
@@strangehominid I feel you, same over here, I wanna work on some more follow-along lyrics for mystic knights stuff cos I’m sure there’s people out there that like the unreleased stuff as we do :D
