singer Lou Rawls plays a super-talented cowboy with a checkered past.

Thanks so much for posting this video clip. This is one of my all-time favorite songs. Lou Rawls sang this song with such tender emotion that he truly made the lyrics come alive. Does anybody know if he ever officially recorded a version of this song on one of his albums?

Rick Ross the episode was reaired today April 19th ... with Lou Rawls as a Super Cowman / Rodeo Champ. and crunner GO U Too and watch all the old westerns & cowboy series... Big Valley among one... Ann Chg
It's one of my favorite episodes. He played Joshua Watson, who was gonna be the one to help the Barkley family win the rodeo from the Morton family, but they didn't know that he was running from the law. Very good episode indeed.
