Florence Davis is a singer, songwriter, she is the daughter of Andrée Davis-Boyer "Mamy SCOPITONE" (precursor of video clip in France) and of the conductor, saxophonist Roby Davis.
She was born in Cap d´Antibes in a house conceived as an eternal musical, the rooms, the garden and its surroundings were the sets for her mother's shoots.
She grew up in the middle of singers, musicians and dancers and was quickly attracted by the lights of the projectors since we find her from the age of eighteen singing at the Olympia alongside Vangelis.
She has, among other things, been part of the musicals "Starmania" and "Les Misérables" and has been a backing vocalist for singing stars such as Charles Aznavour, Claude François, Catherine Lara ..
She has also lent her voice to film, theater and advertising.
During her career, she sang a variety of styles: Contemporary, Rock, Soul, Blues and Jazz, notably with trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie.
Her album "French Songs" illustrates her influences, she pays a sublime tribute to French song and jazz on the subtle arrangements of the Paris Jazz Big Band.
She is currently performing on national and international stages with guitarist, composer Olivier Danloup.
