Just passed my Mod2 in Newport too. Route was to city centre, up around the civic centre, over to the back of the Gaer, down to Cardiff Rd then back to test centre along the southern distributor (ie past transporter bridge).
Hi there! I was hoping to get some help regarding the location of Newport. Could you please confirm if it's Newport (Gwent) or Newport Isle of Wight? Also, I am curious if there are any challenges or issues in the area that I need to consider before choosing it as an option for my exam. I am facing some difficulty finding an exam center near my place, which is why I am exploring different options. Any information you could provide would be helpful, and I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you!
This is Newport Gwent this is one of many different routes you may be taking on if you get a good instructor they will show you the most common routes and what to look out for during your test
Mate im glad i come across this vid as i live in newport and have my mod 1 booked with b bikers so same test routes but i have to say please just change uo a gear your constantly sitting at too high revs whilst cruising. It pains me
Due to it being a 125cc I ride at higher rpm’s to move quicker it’s just how I ride a 125 it’s not necessarily when you’re on a bigger bike all the best with mod 1 and 2
@@pistonheadwill6864 cool. I did think the bike sounded like a 125 but as you have a full license i assumed it was a bigger engine. Saying that it makes more sense now as your riding an underpowered bike. Appreciate the video though pal. Hopefully i get the same route.
Really helpful! I don't have my full tests anytime soon but it really helps knowing the potential route beforehand.
I have my Mod 1 on the 21st Nov then my Mod 2 fingers crossed. Thanks for the information.

Well done buddy
How did you find it mate
@@maxm1316 Easy - was 8:30 monday rush-hour too. I'd ridden a 125 for a year around the same roads though so was confident.
@@daddystu7046 got mine in 2 days got a full day training tomorrow so hopefully that will help
