- This lodge is located in the Tarangrie national park. This lodge has his own flair, u can see animals on the way to your room. Mostly u meet elephants, even 2 or 3 meters above your room. Rooms are comfortable and offering everything you need on your safari trip. Dont be scared when the roof makes noises - you have little guests on it! I call it the Elephant Lodge ! I observed elephants in the night with my night vision camera from the window of the room.

I can see you stayed at Tarangire Sopa and Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. I have a couple of questions regarding your stay.
What time of year did you go how hot was it and was the rooms and bed comfortable?
Did you drive between Tarangire and Ngorongoro lodges and if so how long did the drive take?
What’s good like do they do Vegetarian options or serve fish as we are pescatarians.
We are looking to do a tour with Virgin Holiday Called Taste of Tanzania for December were you stay the two hotels mention above but you go African Tulip in Arusha National Park.

Jellie Views hello james & ellie. First of all this trip is the best choice you can do, it was my best journey. We went on this safari in the last week of november. Normally in the end of november the rain season is starting. But we had luck and had excelennt weather - always sunny warm at 25-30 degrees. The rooms and beds were comfortable -,i could not say any negative points. We drove on our route from ngorongoro crater to tarangire lodge - taking about 4,5 hours i think. You had in every lodge vegetarian options - fish, vegetables and so on i think you will find enaugh.
