What camera and lens do you record with?
I use a Nikon D5500 with a 40mm macro lens for my close ups. For full face, I use the 18-55mm lens.
What eye primer do you use?
I always use a concealer set with a translucent powder.
Are you using a filter in your videos?
HELL NO. I adjust the aperture when I’m filming and it is part of every DSLR camera. Look into it.
Where is the rest of your face?

Angela, not sure why you weren't a fan of the look? It's firey gorgeous beautifulness on your eyeballs! That deep orange and gold on your blue eyes is perfection! Anyway I'd love to see more tutorials with the OG Jaclyn Hill palette, Too Faced chocolate gold palette, Venus XL and 2 and especially the Flamingo palette!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I know that's a lot but last year I bought soooo many palettes and they have all since been forgotten!😢🤷🏽 So I'm pumped that you are doing this series! Such a pretty look!! So am not the only one that feels lost with this palette? I purchased it, returned it then re-purchased it, because everyone was raving about it and I am still lost!
I feel the same about the Born to Run. I was in love with it for all of 3 days before I realized I didn’t know what to do with it. It needs some midtone shades for transition, and a nice navy or deep green matte would have been great too. I love this look and want to break out my palette and try it out.
I've seen other UA-camrs go all over the palette and use it like a color wheel; the looks they create are pretty cool. I used mine in the summer to create monotone, painterly eye looks (kind of how Angela did above). I would search UA-cam for BTR and see what pops up if you're stuck for inspiration.

I keep all my UD palette in one shelf and often use one of the naked palettes along with my more colorful UD pops of color to add.
I also love the blue with bronze look from the beached palette. Teal, navy, and others can be added to make it more interesting. Angela you make every look interesting and I love following your tutorials!
I used this palette this morning and had the same issue of “what do I do with this?” - it was great to hear your thought process and see how your look came together beautifully!

Definitely enjoy Flashback Friday. Keep it coming. Moreover, don't feel like you have to only work with one palette. Mix the palettes, grab singles, etc. The point is to make us all reach for anything and everything in our collection, instead of just focusing on what's next in the cosmetics market :)

I agree that it needs a matte blue and a matte green. If they did that I think it would be perfectly well rounded. But overall I think this palette is pretty good.

Lol! That was so funny - as soon as you said you weren't going to overdo the bottom lash line and boom, you do it inadvertently. Your reaction had me in stitches. Definitely the gold shadow made that look. I think the palette needs more brown/black or deep shades (pigmented ones!). Hope you start to feel better soon. We appreciate you doing videos while you're unwell, but make sure you get plenty of rest too xx

I agree that mattes are lacking in this palette, so I started to use the Subculture with it. I pair the green mattes Destiny and Untamed (Subculture ) with Wanderlust (born to run) and the matte teal Axis (Subculture) goes perfectly with Radio and Big Sky (born to run)

I have blue eyes too and copper/gold/orange are one of my favourite combinations. The shimmer colours certainly stood out more after you applied the eye primer.
