This game makes me want to see you guys play The Sims 4. Make a sim for each of yourself and start out with an empty lot and try to earn the money to build yourself a house.

If Katelyn had more time then she definitely would win, shes uses the whole space without over crowding. Her interior decorating is on point. But for this competition, Evan wins because he got to all the rooms and the yard done in time. I would like to see him add more.

I respect how even as Katelyn ran low on time she still stuck to her strategy of fully decorating a space instead of rushing and plunking things down just to do the bedroom. Her house was definitely the best.
But that missing bathroom door! I had noticed ages before, but I was laughing so hard when Evan finally found it.😂
She was also fighting learning the controls. She spent more than 10 minutes placing one bathtub because she couldn’t get it.
And trying to put floor tiles on walls, etc.
This makes me wish we had multiplayer for house flipper! It would be so fun to be able to work on the same house with someone

You two should try the Sims “no mistake” challenge in house flipper. You place something down and you can’t sell or move it again, it is just where you placed it, whether it’s where you wanted it or not because you can’t make a mistake. I’d love to see how cursed the house would end up 🤣
Also, I think Evan won… Katelyns place was lovely but I just prefer the style of Evans

If I was doing a walk through irl and had to live in one, I’d pick Evans.
If I am purely picking one for aesthetics and I don’t have to live in it, I’d choose Katelyns.

I really hope you do this again, it was really fun to watch and I do think Kately was at a slight disadvantage with the time limit considering she never does the long renovating parts, but having learned a lot the next round will be more evenly matched.
I suspect Evan also learned a lot about waht the watchers like during this round and will put up a good fight if they do this again.
I would also love to see you guys do more yard work! I forgot that was a thign to be honest.
I think this challenge should have different parts, one for the interior and exterior. I vote for Katelyn's flip. Though it is unfinished, I really loved the attention to detail.

They should really get with the developers and see if they would add some of their projects to the game assets. A galaxy table. A geode table. A catcus.

I think a super fun thing would be the almost only garden plot. The house is tiny but it is possible with that only showerhead on the wall thing to make it into a fully functional teeny tiny house and then you two could make a super cool garden. I spend roughly 3 hours making a kinda japanese zen inspired garden placing every flower very purposefully xD.

As an Interior Designer, Im both relaxed watching you guys play but also I want to interject about soooo many details hahaha. Love you guys still for sure! Interesting to observe!
Evan’s priorities started out practical and then by the end I’m a little unsure…
I loved this! Great competition. I think now that Katelyn is more familiar with the options and the requirements, she will do even better next time. I think instead of just having the audience vote, you need to each target the same buyer for your houses and try to make them happy, and see who can get more money out of them.
Evan would probably get more money for having more finished rooms with all the appliances, plus things like shelves and TVs the buyers in game really like 😂
Evan’s house reminded me way too much of a dorm - all the same light wood, everything matching (because it was bought in bulk to save money), and then the college students brought in their fancy electronics to it but did nothing to really decorate. Katelyn’s had real character (even if it was missing a bed, ha)
This was so much fun, I hope you do this sort of thing again ❤

omgg me and Evan are the same person LOL we renovate the same way and we put everything in the same place, down to destroying that one wall and very specifically the kitchen and TV placement that is crazy to watch. I am loving seeing you both renovate in different ways it is genuinely entertaining
I loved Katelyn's cat room and the fact that she had a door to her back yard. Even's house was more to my liking though, but having to walk all the way around the house to get to the back... idk.

Are you using a normal laptop, or do you have a gaming laptop? I want to get this game, too. But I don't know if my Windows laptop is good enough.
@@abbasturd I’m using my old Windows laptop from the early 2010s. While I did have to turn down some of the settings, I spent all day yesterday playing.
If you want to be absolutely sure the game will work for you, search “would my laptop run House flipper”. My top result were the computer requirements needed. I then went to My computer settings to system, then about to compare the requirements.

See, what I would've done with Evan's house was center that window behind the sofa. Also, take out the window near where Evan was trying to put the new backdoor and put a glass sliding door.

I'm usually not one to watch these full streams, but suddenly it's almost 3 hours later and I didn't even notice the time passing. I usually watch your DIY stuff, but this one popped up and I decided to click. So glad I did. You two have excellent eyes for design from two different viewpoints. You can do exterior walls in house flipper 1 too. I don't remember if it came with a free update or with the farm dlc, but it was added around the time the farm dlc came out.

Evan wins in my book because of the gaming computer, the pool, and the ginormous TV. I would have liked an actual bathtub and more counter space in the kitchen. Katelyn's house was, um, I'd take the cat room? Sorry Katelyn. Your aesthetic is not mine. However, you both lose because no one cleaned the windows!

I think Evan has to win, the house is finished if under decorated. I would have spent more time on the interior instead of doing more to the garden. If katelyn had finished and had more time she would 100% have won which you could've predicted from before they started but the challenge was to do it in the time and so Evan won.

i'm still not 5 min in the video but i need to say Y'all HAVE to get the farm dlc !!
like there's the Architect tool in it so you can construct from scratch, change walls -outside ones not only the inside like main game but make additions/rooms to the house itself- or even buy an empty lot and build totally from scratch... just like they are doing with hf2
and of course :v there's cute farm animals, and also a camera mode/drone, and a BUNCH of other items that as far as i can see would fit y'all's aesthetics pretty great, fr, cozy lights, farmhouse style, wood stuff...
And there's a quick paint tool aswell that one can paint/tile an entire room at once and such other ''quality of life'' updates.
also :v maybe, do a special flip on the room 404? hehe it's haunted xD
and if y'all got the game through steam there's a workshop with custom items one can download to the game there's many cat items in there and many others that the main game doesn't have.

I just want to throw this in here, you can currently build a house completely from scratch in this version!
While I like Katelyn's interior eye, I feel like she focused a 'little too much' on the cat room -which, honestly, feels totally on brand for her, but it definitely feels like it costs her in the end. I like Evan's house more because it feels complete -the TV is WAY too big for me, but I could honestly otherwise be comfortable in it. I definitely like how he opened the space up and made it a 1bed/1bath with a large combination room
Love watching these games -definitely makes me want to get the game, too, and I'm gonna as soon as I get the money lol
Katelyn you should buy sims 3 pets or sims pets you can buy cats
/ dogs give them their own personality, train them watch them grow from kitten to adult etc.
