Nobody makes shows like Bewitched, Good times, I dream of Jeannie, Sanford and son, Gilligans island, Hogans heroes, the Jeffersons and Archie Bunker anymore. Entertaining, fun and a lot of times with a wholesome message. Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s was the best. Best tv and definitely the best music. 😳

Something else I love about this episode, Sam is calm and clear thinking while Darrin is freaking out, which I can understand. I love it when she tells the client she'll get the dresses made. He asks how? Sam says mother will help. That's a wich for you. 😀 Endora didn't know it yet, but when Sam told her she'll be using witchcraft to get the dresses done, she said, "That's my Samantha." I've said it elsewhere, Darrin is very lucky that he met and married Sam. She is so darn smart. Being a witch doesn't hurt. 😀

I grew up with this show, seen every episode, and still love watching it. Quality TV just isn't made anymore. Bewitched is 58 years old, came out in 1964. And it's still worth watching, still entertaining. Good writing, great acting, and censorship to keep it clean. How many times have we seen Samantha in her nightgown, and never seen anything risky? Serena’s mini skirts showed more skin. I miss this kind of show, safe, and funny. But they could never recapture this kind of long lasting entertainment again. The spark between the actors, the writers, the sense of humor and timing, it was a perfect combination. I don't think any modern actors could pull it off. Even if given the exact same scripts. Even if they made the sets up similar. They'd never find another console TV set for the living room, that's for sure. 🤣 I remember thinking that was such a fancy TV, they must be rich. My surprise the first time I watched it on a color TV set! I didn't know it was filmed in color. 😊 Thank you for the video, greatly appreciated. And that one with the lady named Hyacinth, she was big and pushy with a short skinny little husband. And one with two married couples, one was down to Earth gardeners, the neighbors were a bit snobby. Sorry I forget some of the names, I haven't watched them in awhile. And I have senior forgetfulness... Watching Brit-coms you just have to translate a few things. In the car Hyacinth told her husband to drive carefully he almost hit a lolly....? I used to work at the airport, I asked the next customer with an English accent what a lolly was, and where I heard it. It took him a minute, then realized the time frame of the show. He explained people pushed carts down the street selling sweets. It was a lollypop cart. ? We have icecream trucks that drive through neighborhoods in the summer, you have to be fast to catch them. Your post is very nostalgic, but it’s from another time. You laud it for being “safe”, but it’s actually sexist. It encourages women to adjust their behaviour in order to do to appease the fragile egos of their husbands. I wouldn’t call that safe. Neither would millions of other modern women.

This delightful show had so many changes over the years with different combinations of actors playing the main roles. This pairing for me was the best. You could believe they were an actual couple. They had such good chemistry. The downside for me though was the "canned laughter," it didn't need it.

I am 63 years old, I grew up on Black and White, I didn't get a color TV until I was about 21 and living on my own, in those days you went to work, earned and saved your money, then went shopping for your toys.
50 + years and the magic or fanfare has never faded from this TV show!!! I bet the future first Mar colonists will be watching rerun tapes of Bewitched. Bewitched forever!!

Kudos for the stunt fall Dick Gautier took at 1:20. Looks easy but it's actually quite risky, head first down stairs. He sold it perfectly, didn't protect himself and Clark didn't break his fall in the least.

What I always found funny about this series is if you watch the intro episode (pilot) before Samantha got married it was revealed she was 400 years old, that was the first and last time Samantha's actual age was ever mentioned.

If this is season 2 then I don't think it was colorized. Wasn't only the first season in B/W with all other seasons filmed in Color? I think both Gilligan's Island and I Dream of Jeannie where that way also.
I'm surprised that no one knew the designer. He guest starred in a few episodes, on one of the funniest shows from the 60's. In 1967, he battled the unstoppable, Groppo! Any detectives out there?

This awful show most certainly needed the laugh track. In spite of nostalgia and The Gorgeous Montgomery, this show was run of the mill hack writing.

I can't recall the actor playing the designer, but his fainting scene along with the fall was amazing considering there was no stunt double.
The fashion designer was played by:
Dick Gautier, Oct. 30, 1931-Jan. 13, 2017 (85 yrs).
I always confuse him with Robert Goulet or Bert Convy.
This is why I still watch old tv shows.
Elizabeth Montgomery's facial expressions are second to none, few words were spoken but everyone knew exactly what she was saying to Darren.

I know it made sick days a lot better to handle with a sore throat, stuffy nose, or queasy stomach.

Dick Gautier appeared on a lot of game shows in the 1970's.
