Pluvias, i have some questions. How well are you able to understand the japanese in manga? I hear manga uses many slangs, are you able to understand the slangs? What do you do if you encounter kanji that you dont know its meaning? (Or maybe you do understand every common kanji in manga...)
That's true. But personally, I naturally came to understand most of the slang because of years and years of watching anime. And if I encounter any word/kanji I don't understand, I immediately use a dictionary app to translate.
The nice thing about manga is that it has furigana written so you can read every kanji. But in cases where there's no furigana, I use Google Translate or Yomiwa app to capture a photo then extract the kanji. Or search for the kanji manually through radicals and number of strokes.

I Have few questions I am curious.. hopefully you are comfortable to answer them about, How much it costs you to live in Japan, like the rent and is your work as a digital artist enough to cover The living?
And Do you face racism In Japan?
The costs of living here can be cheap or expensive depending on the lifestyle you go for. Basically, if you really wanna live here you can find ways to manage your living expenses. If your freelance work has a strong foundation (i.e. an income stream), or if you land a full time job, then you'd be able to support yourself.
Generally I wouldn't say racism is clear in daily life. Although xenophobia exists, it's hidden beneath good manners and apparent respect (when dealing with people).
