Amen !
Thanks for this gem of a track. Bholen was, indeed, the band leader but the greatest influence was Bavon Marie, the lead/solo guitarist and Luambo Franco's younger brother, who joined in 1964.. After Bavon's death in 1970, the once vibrant and successful Negro Succes folded up in 1972. And, by the way, Vicky had been in OK Jazz before he formed Negro Succes. So he rejoined his former band.
Please make Moselebende available for public audience. UA-cam indicates it's private to you. Would you have more Negro Succes tracks? Looking for: Mon Ami N'a Jamais Vole, Nazali Macon (Kasi Ndako Te), Yuma Fidelis etc
Takes me back where youth spirit was free
Old is gold. Great music.
Favourite and to date

I love this hit : I played it in 1960s. I could not leave unplayable
Perfect...those were my gold days...
Is there anyone on earth who enjoys these Congo musics more than me
It’s full of nostalgia memories of the sixties
Me I am listening to Negro success. We thank technology for enabling us to listen to our gems
Wonderful music. Especially for those of us who were teens in 70s.
Great music. Reminds me of my teenage years in late '60s and early '70s.
When music was what remains is.
Not the noise the Gen Z calls music.
Nakumbuka tukiwa wadogo tukienda kanisani na kuiba machumngwa ya mission(kanisani) 1970 TAWA MATOMBO MOROGORO long time

They not only made great music... but like Negro Band across the River in Brazzaville, they also did have an amazing dress sense!!
