I love how China Glaze doesn't shy away from including multiple finishes in a collection, especially when spring collections can easily come off as boring. We got sheers, mattes, shimmers and plenty of glitter to go around in great colors that look good on all sorts of skin tones. There's something for everyone here imo!
I agree with you about having the bright color in sheer, it's a good way to transition from winter to summer. I also think this collection has something that can appeal to everyone.
EEEEEEE !!!! I am so excited because I have both Skillshare and this collection. So I definitely bought them because I don't like the way pastels look on me all of the time. (not to mention how they look on me in photographs) But these are a little more vibrant which instantly looks better on me. I know how selfish that sounds but in building a nail polish collection I want polishes that boost my confidence and I am thrilled to have another spring set that isn't the same old same old.

So if you have a sore throat and don’t keep honey/lemon in your pantry, the Arizona Tea in the turquoise can ( with honey in it) is really great to help your throat when consumed heated. Can be found at almost any gas station so it’s pretty easy to get ahold of too. ❤️
I got something very similar to Mystic Dawn - but without the sheerness - by using Loud Lacquer’s Coachella over Orly’s Coffee Break. Kinda obsessed with how different Coachella looks over different base colors. Bloomphoria is definitely my pick from this collection!

100% agree with you on your thoughts regarding spring collection colors! I liked this a lot, picked up the two pinks, the green, and the lighter purple (I've already got polishes that cover the colors I didn't pick up, LOL).
I understand what you’re saying. I just seem to like them all! My mood decides what I put on my nails. Sometimes it’s a pastel, sometimes I want something vibrant, but I pretty much always want glitter! 😂 even if it’s just on one nail.
I think these colours are absolutely beautiful! The only downside for me would be that they all have hardeners added. My China Glaze polishes that have hardeners are my least favourite to wear because they chip so quickly. For that reason, I won't be buying any of these polishes. Great review as always, Kelli!
My favorites are instant sparks and the whole bottom line. I actually like them all except mystic dawn. I’d wear them all except that one. My absolute favorite out of all of them has to be Bloominescence. I’m obsessed with purple just like you are and I absolutely love Planted & Enchanted and Secret Rendez-Blue. I just have to say it again, that I absolutely love, love, love your hair!!!!! You are so gorgeous!!!! I hope I don’t make you feel uncomfortable, telling you all the time. I also don't like dusty pastels very much, so I appreciate that this collection is a little brighter. I love the whole bottom row in your swatch photo, and bloomphoria is my favorite! So pretty! Also, I think that vibrant blue hair is so pretty on you!
It's so nice to see jewel tones for spring! Spring is about flowers, so heck yeah! I have to say, I'm surprised that Bloomphoria is my favorite. Normally I don't care for pastels at all (mostly because I'm ginger and pastels don't look the greatest against my skin tone), but this was stunning with that shimmer. Mystic Dawn would have to be my second pick. I was disappointed with the green, blue and dark purple polishes. I feel like I've seen those particular base shades way too much.
I’m a Sally Hansen fan…. Insta Dry, miracle gel and extreme but I’m now a fan of China Glaze, even the matte finish! Beautiful colors, love them and getting them one by one, why not? Thank you!!! Life is too short :)

Mystic Dawn is a major love for me to the point where I have already bought two backup bottles! On me, it's like sometimes kinda pinky mauvey and like almost a nude skintone . It's nice in one coat but even better in 3 coats and I normally hate to do more than 2 coats. I have a polish almost that same color I could use for "undies" if I wanted to as well. I just really like it. It's great with my skin tone.

I would love to see Secret Rendez-Blue over Bloomphoria! Those are my favorite polishes in this collection. Arizona Tea...I love the green tea with honey. (The can is mint green with cherry blossoms on it) I have seen words on the can saying, "Great hot too!" I can't bring myself to heat up my favorite Arizona Iced Tea!
I've never been tempted to buy a whole collection before - but these are gorgeous! I already love China Glaze shimmers, and those matte shades are stunning... I drink a lot of tea (though I'm not a tea snob), all year long, and hot Arizona sounds pretty foul!

Can't agree more about the color story. I do think my favorites are Fairytale Bliss and Secret Rendez-Blue. My opinion on Arizona Tea in particular is cold. The flavors I don't think lend well to hot.
Love the hair and eye shadow. Don't think I've seen blue on you too often. Haven't gotten into the sheers too much, but love the bloomphora. I would use that if I wanted some color but didn't want to spend a lot of time.

Whoa Bloomphoria looks like a better dupe of OPI Significant Other Color. It’s a pretty shade in the bottle, but against my skin tone it looks more like a neutral with green shimmer LOL

When I was a kid, my neighbor would make a hot drink with Tang; it had cloves and spices in it. It was very delicious. But, that might be a south jersey thing. Lol. I think it was called ‘Russian tea’ or something like that. Hahaha!
While I do like the usual pastel spring shades, I agree that spring collections should be brighter. Spring is a season of bright, vibrant color. Blooms can be brightly colored and polishes should follow. I'm confused as to why someone heating Arizona tea wouldn't just make tea.

So uh... I have tried Arizona tea hot, but not on purpose. I forgot a can in my black car for an afternoon in the summer. Surprisingly enough it tastes pretty good. I would recommend purposely microwaving it in a mug if you actually wanna drink it hot tho
Okay, backstory to the Arizona question: my coworker drinks them religiously. If he doesn’t have one, we’re like “are you ok????”. Anyways, one day he comes up and says “you know you can drink these hot? It says it on the can.” I too had an existential crisis because when I drink them I’ll get the Arnold Palmer or Green tea one. I’ve been so curious because I’ve never seen anyone microwave their Arizona. It bothers me to this day 😂

The pale pink shimmer strongly reminds me of the milk bath polish from Sinful Colors Essenchills collection. I am pretty interested in the pale purple you showed last as well as the turquoise. I'll probably stay away from the beige/orange sheers as my nails are stained and that would make them look worse to me.
I make my own polish from time to time, and I made one very much like the beige/blue shimmer (mystic dawn) and I felt the same way about my own- kinda cool, but the yellowish undertone was odd
I appreciate this collection for being different. I do think it looks very pretty... but I just know I will almost always wear these polishes at 3 coats. And if that's the case, I may as well just buy similar polishes that are more opaque than these and be done at 2 coats. 😂

I like a darker spring look myself. I don't mind a pastel, but I typically wear dark colors so rich but soft works well better for me.

I recall drinking Tang hot during the winters in PGH PA too!!! (no cloves or spices though)
I bet that Instant Sparks feels wintery to you because it looks A LOT like Melrose Fireplace from the 2020 China Glaze holiday collection.

Okay, backstory to the Arizona question: my coworker drinks them religiously. If he doesn’t have one, we’re like “are you ok????”. Anyways, one day he comes up and says “you know you can drink these hot? It says it on the can.” I too had an existential crisis because when I drink them I’ll get the Arnold Palmer or Green tea one. I’ve been so curious because I’ve never seen anyone microwave their Arizona. It bothers me to this day 😂

The pale pink shimmer strongly reminds me of the milk bath polish from Sinful Colors Essenchills collection. I am pretty interested in the pale purple you showed last as well as the turquoise. I'll probably stay away from the beige/orange sheers as my nails are stained and that would make them look worse to me.
I make my own polish from time to time, and I made one very much like the beige/blue shimmer (mystic dawn) and I felt the same way about my own- kinda cool, but the yellowish undertone was odd
I appreciate this collection for being different. I do think it looks very pretty... but I just know I will almost always wear these polishes at 3 coats. And if that's the case, I may as well just buy similar polishes that are more opaque than these and be done at 2 coats. 😂
the swatches of fairytale bills and pretty as a petal give of hardcore vibes of the sinful colors Christmas polishes - the velvet matte finish. Do you think they're dupes?

I can only find these online ☹️. Hate paying nearly double because of shipping. I love sheer polish, but I thought the colors were just ok. I only really want Instant Sparks. But I would love to see Bloomphoria in person. It seems to be the most raved about. Maybe I'm missing something 😕.
