I really enjoyed how Anthony brought up his experiences with therapy. Stigma in mental health is still very prevalent and it’s refreshing to see someone of influence speak about their mental health and ways they cope and care for themselves. I have a deeper respect for Anthony, thanks for the podcast

I love everyone being so open. It made me so happy to hear Anthony speaking so freely about his feelings and anxiety and experience with therapy. I love the genuine honesty from people, especially from men because they have society always telling them that being emotional is wrong.

Right! A lot of these new youtubers only see it as a job and they're all copycatting and doing the same shit and its so boring. Its not unique but these OG youtubers started for the love it and you can see that STILL reflected in their content (Jenna, Shane, Ryan, etc)

Honestly, Ive been avoiding watching Anthony's vids for a while, because I imagined he wasn't genuine, but after watching this, I realized I was ridiculously wrong and I identify with him more than I would have realized. Time to binge watch some Padilla

This is why I love watching Anthony's videos on his channel. He's so much more humble and real than most youtubers. I'm not saying everyone else on youtube sucks and is fake, but Anthony is definitely someone I look up to.

I must admit I had stopped watching because these podcasts are looong, but I now believe they can be worth your time depending on what interests you. Keep up the good work!
Pau Juba Podcasts usually run 1 hour although some run up to two, not necessarily on Ryan’s channel.

When Anthony started describing panic attacks, it felt so spot on. I'm glad he's doing so much better now! I feel that knowing "fear of not being in control" is very helpful. Understanding my panic attacks really helped me reduce them

Ryan was one of the few people I watched on UA-cam that I developed a personal connection (on my end) and I felt for him whenever Sean left or there was a change in the channel. You made such an impact on people man

This is an excellent interview with him, thank you Ryan. I was a freshman in college when UA-cam started and y’all were definitely the first big channels we all watched. It’s great to see how you’ve all continued to change and make content you enjoy.
Ryan looks so much more relaxed with this type of content, and that makes it refreshing to watch. Anthony also looks like he's in a much happier place now. Those two were the OG and I'm so glad the off the pill podcast makes them more open and stress-free. Keep it up!

I hope someday Anthony will appear in SmoshCast, just him and Ian, no smosh squad whatsoever. Just them talking reminiscing their time together and their new life ever since Anthony left Smosh, just some good old friend conversation. That'll be great
Wow, I love and respect Anthony so much. I really learned alot from his insights. I respect Ryan for exploring his experiences with youtube over the past 10 years. Many of us have been journeying here with Ryan since he started, and can have empathy for his experiences of being so young and just fooling around with Sean with how to be Ninja, Emo, Nerd, Gangsta, and following him throughout the boom of the industry, the explosion of his channel, and certainly have empathy for how much of his life and identity is in youtube - also the complexities of that, the pressure to constantly turn out content that feeds the algorithms, growing up and wanting to explore different creative voices, burn out from constant work, and also from having to express a brand that is an online persona that people adore and coping with fame, while still needing to continue on with his personal growth and maturing into an adult. Just a lot here with Ryan and Anthony - it really shows, and people can feel that it has been 10 years for you both in your voices, you can really feel 10 years in what you are sharing. Thanks a lot Ryan and Anthony for being yourselves here and for sharing the reality of your mega fame on youtube.

Fantastic podcast. I really have an extreme, upmost respect for Anthony now. I already had a lot of respect for him during Smosh, but listening to him talk so openly and maintaining his humbleness + open-mindness is amazing. Especially talking about his mental health. I wish more people could be like that.

When I was a wee lad in the mid 00s, I used to watch a lot of you, ShaneDawsonTV, Smosh, etc. Since the mid 2010s I didnt really keep up with the OG channels. I didn't even know about the Off the Pill podcast until a few months ago. But I love these interviews with the OG creators, it's like seeing long lost friends again after almost a decade.

It’s so nice to see ‘celebrities’ like Anthony and Ryan talk about mental health and their struggles with it. That’s something I feel like even the new generation UA-camrs can’t even be genuine about. It’s just different.

I got access to high speed internet for the first time in my life in 2012. I used to watch Smosh and NigaHiga a lot. Opening old videos of you guys brings such strong nostalgia :')
