- The Par 3 8th hole at Royal Troon has claimed many victims over the years. Previously named 'Ailsa' for it's views over its namesake, the Postage Stamp has become one of the most feared and treacherous short holes in Open Championship history.
Short in length, but devilishly testing. The tee shot over a gully onto a small green requires pinpoint accuracy or else...

It's a shame there was no footage of the 1982 Open. I think three British players got hole-in-ones that year: Sam Torrance, Roger Chapman and Gordon J .Brand.
