Definitely high ceilings give you the sense of having a large home. I like the open kitchen & living area and of course the dog park in this community!
The sherrington model is beautiful and perfect, love all the extra storage colors are perfect wish we were ready
Love the layout of this home and the fact that it’s a corner lot is a plus. I agree with you I’m not a fan of the color choice made for the kitchen cabinets but other than that I really like this home 🥰

Definitely 2005 kitchen! Doesn’t even fit the airy theme of the entire house! What were they thinking? Love the master and all in all a great use of space!
Also love that these homes are built with blocks(as hurricane prone areas should be).

Thanks for the wonderful house tour. I would absolutely purchase this house. I like lots of storage. It is definitely necessary especially when you have kids. Stuff accumulates very fast. I agree with you, the kitchen looks dated. I like the gas stove, tankless water heater and the lay out of the house. 👍

This house is beautiful, I love everything about it. I’m a city gal although I have much family in Florida. I must admit I have certain apprehension in regards to the sink holes Florida 😩
We why are you apprehensive about the sink hole?
I would do the master bathroom bigger by using the space of the storage closet that is next to the kitchen..

We are actually building a Sherrington in Magnolia. We fell in love because it was a straight to the point house...not too much, not too little. We wanted the Sanya (of course, it’s AMAZING) but it was more than we needed. Sales team is great and construction managers are as well.
I COMPLETELY agree on the kitchen, it’s horrible. I was shocked when we walked it back in March of how dated it was compared to the master bath and the rest of the house. I think Ashton Woods has better design choices, it’s catered to a younger crowd and K Hov feels more conservative still. I think they’re trying to work on it, but still a long way to go. We’re 30 so we wanted things that AW had and KH did not offer design wise, but KH was a better bang for our buck square footage wise (and I was able to get some features special ordered).
We’ve met many of our neighbors and we absolutely love them. Most kids we’ve seen are older (10 and up), we have a one year old so hopefully more toddlers move in.
All in all, FANTASTIC community!!

This house is almost perfect. The only thing I would change is the bath tub in the third bedroom for a walk in shower. And the color of the kitchen. My home is just down the street and is valued at $181000. but its 28 years old.

That storage closet next to the kitchen I would turn it into a half bath for guests...🤔 cabinets I didn't like

How much are property taxes, HOA? How often do you increase them? How much is Home insurance?
Though very nice as compared to other models, I still like the design of the older Florida homes with very high ceilings; decorative shelves; niches and semi private kitchens. The exterior was also more tropical style vs the more plain linear look they’re building now. Florida builds are now starting to look like North-East design. Jmo

Can you request a pool and a screened in porch with a fenced yard? How much more would that take the price up?
You sure can but it will be depend on a lot of factors but an a good starting point would be around $75K-$100K

I prefer a bigger kitchen with more cabinets storage. Such a big home but lacking a big kitchen and definitely more cabinets in my opinion. Beautiful though

The kitchen is beautiful luxury for persons to pick or choose to live in the house to appreciate to practice their cooking skills in; so niiiice is sooo right.↗ It's a beautiful house, beautiful shown throughout the house 🎥 video show; but, it's not my house↗I'm just saying because the male advertiser's saying you and your as if it's my beautiful home of which I don't have the monies to pay for and don't live in Florida although I would love to visit Florida for different reasons of which one reason would be to go to enjoy Disney World scenery and foods and fun happening there.👌↗ I just enjoy 👀 looking at decent, nice and neat, beautiful and luxury housing from time to time by 🎥 video showing and sometimes making fair of legal comments about my 👂 hear and or 👀 see I write about by it's attached comments section. 😘

Overall like the space could have had a better layout of the 1st two bedrooms wouldn't want smaller children on the front of the house/ but the kitchen killed it for me. Just color alone dates it. Good realtor though

I wouldn't hire you to show my home...You kept moving the camera so much that I got dizzy. Also you didn't turn on the master bathroom lights. Anyway it was an old video, this floor plan is nice.

Is a 20% down payment required for a home like this?
Great question!! It all depends on your situation but if you live in the area already then you can qualify for lower down payment options 3-5%. If you're in a different country or state then you will either need a job offer letter or a job transfer letter in order to qualify for 3-5% down payment otherwise you will have to put 10-20% because you would be considered an investor at that point. Only way to know for sure is to pick your favorite builder and get pre-qualified from them and then you can shop that around to see who's going to give you the best deal.
