Building a micro layout in OO gauge. Part 2 Ballasting

Part 2 takes a look at how I ballast. Also added to grass tufts for the overgrown unkempt effect.
The Bachmann 08 had managed to get dirty pic ups so will need stripping and cleaning.
As requested, a steam engine has made an appearance. Preserved Duke of Gloucester 71000

Nice to see a preserved steamy on the scene. Duke of Gloucester is better suited to a proper oval of track, so she can work hard hauling a special Easter Eggs-press train at full speed. It is Easter Monday after all. Happy Easter.
