( that was supposed to be used in the Final Rambo but he chose to go with Dietmar-- as he did make the right decision to be honest ).

@@tubes5150 - So far, I dig the Mk8 because I modified my old shoulder holster rig to carry it around. Its a tad bit easier to carry it around versus my other larger carry blade. I'm still waiting on my PF Mk9.

Personally I think the MK-8 is just awesome, but if I had some "business" to take care of I'd go for MK-9!

You could probably do the Michael Myers Halloween thing -- when he raises that guy off the ground with one hand on the throat , and then pins him to the wall using his butcher knife - leaving him on display.
Best creepiest part is just after he does that , he cocks his head to the side as if admiring a Priceless Picasso haha .

@@gregf8167 don’t know for sure, but it appears to be a separate element from the tang. From other videos I’ve see, it looks like two small bolts secure it.

Today, I received by invoice from Pohl Force, which means my MK8/MK9 will be shipping soon - can't wait to get my hands on them. Honestly, I do admire you for putting these beauties to the test and using them the way they're meant to be used, which just shows their quality, but I don't think I'd have the heart to do it as they will be my collection peaces strictly. It's greatly appreciated - you do it so we don't have to. I also love that these are true full-tang knives.
The only mod I on my end will be the paracord wraps. It's a pet peeve of mine for the paracord to match the knife's handle, so my MK8 will get a black/gray accent paracord and MK9 will end up with some sort of sand/desert camo one.
P.S. I get allergies every year, but this year they really kicked my a$$ big time, so I know how you feel.

@@tubes5150 Definitely will let you know when they come in. In their email, Pohl Force informed me they will not be able to ship until Tuesday at the fastest as Monday/May 24th is a national holiday in Germany, so one more day of delay 😭😤🤬
Also, coincidentally enough my allergy period officially ended yesterday. Finally, because I'm tired of looking/feeling like I've taken a tear gas grenade to the face, especially when doing yardwork.

Beautiful blades ! But what is that lump on top of the blade for ! And all the weird cuts on the other one
Lump is to create a larger opening to a duffle bag filled with chicken parts without adding too much weight! Groove on the other is called a Fuller to decrease a little weight while retaining it's strength like an I-Beam 🔪🔪

Dietmar Pohl of Pohl Force Knives in Germany designed and hand made the knives for the movie. After the MK-9 had been handled(no pun intended) by everyone on the movie set, it changed from beige to a nice crocodile look. Name a place where i can send u a pic of new vs "handled" MK-9 if you like🔪🔪

You know what’s the difference between the CNC2 and the custom are other than the price?
I’m not 100 % ….. but I think the custom has better steel ( I think some upper echelon steel ).
It’s hand made too .
It be nice to own and all but I think I’ll stick with CNC2 version haha .
I’m crazy but not that crazy haha .
The CNC2 is holding up well .
I don’t use often but when I do , it performs each and every task .
No dings or Dangs and cleans up like new .

Last year , I was wearing one of my bigger blades ( shoulder harnessed ).
I think it was my Khukuri Extreme Bowie .
Something like that .
Well I went for a walk , and when I made it to the other side of the wooded area , I met up with a police office ( just hanging back in his vehicle).
He noticed the blade .
“ hey - you - Ya got a second “???
I thought he was going to give me crap about the knife but instead he wanted to know where he could buy one .
It was a really cool conversation.
I wonder if he ever did make the purchase ??
I didn’t get a good look at his face ( they all seem to look alike around here ).
But I’m sure he would remember me haha .

Yeah he was really excited to be out and about .
Been a long time since we took that walk .( at that location ).
They really cleaned the area up nice ( no glass on the path due to the little Basterds drinking in the woods and breaking their bottles ).
The rain always pushes the broken glass towards the walking path .
I went pretty far in .... I wanted to see if that stool was still there ; remember by Condor Plan A knife video when I found a stool in the woods ??
