This vlog felt like a comforting hug to my 12-year-old wounded self whom I still carry with me. Kuensel, you’re such a wonderful daughter; I wish I could have been the same for my mom, but she’s not around anymore. Watching you travel with your mom, sharing meals, being fed by her hands, wearing clothes she picked out, and hugging her-it brings me so much joy. Yet, there's this ache in my chest too. I wish I’d had more time with my own mother. I never got the chance to create memories like these, but seeing you capture your mom’s little moments-her eating, sitting in the car, doing her cute dance-warms my heart. I was in tears throughout the vlog.
Today wasn’t easy for me, and I’m still figuring out how to live without struggling so much. It’s tough. But I’m genuinely happy for you. Seeing you two together made my heart smile. I guess I’ll cherish these borrowed moments through your lens, Kuensel. Thank you for sharing a glimpse of what I never got to experience and letting us feel a bit of that love too.
