It was good joining you live for a while yesterday evening. I'm surprised it only took you 8 hours to complete the challenge! I always imagine that you might be forced to stop (for sleep if nothing else!) on one of these and say you'll resume the next day, but - so far - you haven't had to do that. WELL DONE! Happy Boxing Day! 😀🎅
As regards length of live streaming, for me personally I'd go with less is more. There's another old saying that I've found to be consistent with forms of entertainment (I think it was spoken by a filmmaker, but I can't remember who!), which is "Always leave them hungry". In other words, under-broadcast rather than over-broadcast. People being sad because something has finished sooner than they'd have liked, and looking forward to joining it when it returns, is always better than people being bored because something's swamped, and possibly going elsewhere. The judgement necessary is working out what "swamped" is, and working around that. Due to the limited amount of free time I have, joining live streams regularly is probably unlikely for me (even though I enjoy it a lot), so I'm pleased to hear you say that you'll continue to mix live stuff with recorded. You've made wise decisions so far as regards your "brand", so it's likely you'll continue to do that, and more power to you. For me as a consumer, I always want to come back to Thomas Xplores because you're a convivial host and your mix of content - which can be skipped between - keeps me entertained. 😁
