Great videos.I grew up in Beaver,Pa getting my cards from Jim Tripoli at Diamond Jim's shop.I subscribed today.Cards are always part of my day.Go Buccos (and Braves).
Wow!!! I've never even SEEN the box these came in!? 😲😮 Sweet collection of '69's! Even though I was born in 1980, I've always liked the 1969 Topps design as one of my ultimate favorites for some reason? Cheerful, bright colors and the playful dot or ball shape in one corner, and nice photography and poses for that era? Just a perfect card design for all time. 😍
Great video! Your videos as well as the suggestions you’ve already given have helped me tremendously when learning about vintage cards! Just realized the other day, and since you brought one out in this video, I like how your helmets in the back denote your “PC” haha!
Ironic that Koosman got the Topps rookie trophy and Ryan didn’t. I’d say Ryan made up for it later. And I LOVE the deckle edges! I didn’t know about them until a year ago. I scooped up the Tigers for my team set collection. They look like something out of a 1960s photo album.
@@MrJmangini I'm not sure I think one was a white letter and then was the other one was a yellow just Google top 10 most valuable Topps baseball cards 1968
I never saw the box I just bought the packs out of the box at the dime store never had the money to buy the whole box but that's cool I know what you mean by collecting the old boxes and the old rappers
@MrJmangini He is a young collector definitely from Massachusetts who is most definitely Italian and he has a show about "collectors showing their top three cards in their collection" , with different collector's like the guy from "A Collector's Dream"..and I think you were also on his show once...I thought his name was Adam...
Volume John, volume. Can't hear this one. Don't you check things before you make a dump to UA-cam? I have the whole set anyway. Lol. I shouldn't cry about it, but don't hear your velvet voice. Lol.
Now that's a real collection. Enjoyed the video!!!
Tony Carlos thanks

I love your channel! I wish everyone showed cards like yours instead of the usual junk wax and heritage cards!😉
Thanks for that.
Your videos are like taking a walk through a museum.
Great Cards! Doubles of Santo. "Remember.....it's not hoarding if you've got great stuff"
I love your collection of 69topps and inserts!!! Very cool...👍🔥⚾
Working on my 69T set n under 40 to go!! I'm surprised John you didnt whip out that stroller from your closet!
Good luck finishing it off.
Definitely some cool 😎 stuff. Johnny Bench is favorite card in the set . Other than my Buccos , of course.

Yes they do
The Ed Brinkmann variation card is one of the most valuable cards in that set
What’s the variation?
Does he have a white letter version too?
@@MrJmangini all's I know is when I researched it they said it was one of the top 10 most valuable cards that was 1968 Topps not 1969 so my mistake

Pretty cool family story. How about a showing of the psychedelic 1972 set? Out of the later vintage cards 72, 73 , and 75 are all pretty good.
Sitka VintageTC those are actually on my list. I’ve been wanting to show my 72’s especially.

You’re talking about Splendid Sports Cards? He collects Mantle, Brady, Pedro and Bird mostly. And I don’t believe he’s Italian. But I’ll ask him.
Ok! I confirmed he is indeed 1/2 Italian.
Is that Michael Jackson's glove?

Peter Mikita I’m confused because it sounds exactly the same volume as my other videos on my end.
@@MrJmangini very low on mine compared to your others. Which are border line low volume too! Lol
