I do a lot of crochet and this tutorial is really hard to follow.. mixed up terms like 2 single crochet together instead of 2 single crochet into the same stitch...
You forgot to chain one after the first round.. for experienced crocheters it's obvious, but beginners could just simply follow the video and make the same mistake. You should have written correction line in the video

Yes, there’s some steps or instructions that she doesn’t mention. For instance, how many stitches you should have at the end of each row. Or how the hook should enter thru the stitch in same way in the back of center stitch. The video quality is very good but it would be nice when she cuts to the end of row that she explain how not to use slip stitch etc. I mean if I followed a tutorial and got frustrated or my project didn’t look as good I would not follow or ever recommend that channel. So as someone who is putting your work for the world to see and critic, I would make sure that everyone can follow along and do it correctly. JS

thank you very much for your tutorial! What brand of t-shirt yarn did you use? I tried Hoooked Zpagetti and Fast-Track by Lion Brand but they are not bulky enough for my next crochet project
What a good tutorial!!! Mine only didn't turn out as good, it's kind of bending or twisting in a weird way, probably the different tension of the stitches. Anyhow, kudos to this very easy to follow tutorial.
I loved following this tutorial. I used a 12mm crochet hook instead and it still came out great. Do you have a circular rug pattern that I can try out?
After completing the first round, don't pull the string of the magic ring too tight- you can pull it tight after next few rounds.. and also try to crochet more loosely

Mine is bendy and twisty too. There's another comment on here about we missed a chain after the first round. Maybe that's it.
